"Dead Pool, Wraith and Silver Fox are now confirmed characters for the upcoming origin tale of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The Hollywood Reporter confirms that Ryan Reynolds is playing Dead Pool, Lynn Collins is indeed Kayla Silverfox and Black Eyed Peas musician "Will.i.am" is John Wraith. I like this news. I've actually been hoping that Ryan Reynolds would be cast as the wise cracking smart mouth assassin. This is just like Patrick Stewart as Prof. X, Kelsey Grammer as Beast, and Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man; it's perfect casting. I just hope they don't screw up the movie. The amount of people being added to this movie kind of scares me (why is Gambit in this movie?) but Brett Ratner is no where near this movie so there might be hope yet.

I like the news too, I am a big fan of Ryan Reynolds. I really enjoy his work. Like you said, it is perfect casting for the character.

Great casting idea! Deadpool needs that smartass actor...and that is now pretty much Ryan Reynolds' acting style.

dont worry about gambit. its just a throw in for leaving him out of the x-men trilogy and pissing us all off.

Some comic book movies are okay. I just wish they would stick with continuity a bit more.

In my opinion I don't know how you can have the first movie with Wolverine and not have Sabertooth in it.
