You've got people agitating for a change or abolishing of the electoral college, in view of the urbanization of the country - what then, though? All the farmers and ranchers and everyone else in a flyover state gets a diminished say in the vote? Good? 'cause they're uneducated Jesus freaks anyway? That slope doesn't get slipperier. More slippery. Slicker. You get it.
They shouldn't get diminished because they are Jesus freaks (not that a gigantic portion of them actually follow his teachings anyhow), but they should get diminished because having somebody's vote count more than another person on the basis of empty real estate and land around them was a fucking stupid and flawed concept from the beginning. It flies in the face of common sense and fairness. In the modern Western world baring actual legit human rights concerns the majority should almost always get their way. That's hot it works. What was once thought of as a bulwark against tyranny of the majority has become just rule by the minority. They are not the same thing. That's absolutely not what a democratic republic should be about, and is an even worse form of tyranny.
If times or culture change and people that were once in the in group end up a minority, then tough shit. That doesn't give them the right to connive of techniques to artificially keep themselves in power.
I would go even a step farther and also say that the minimum 3 seats in the house a state can get no matter how small it is should be abolished also.
Not to mention a not too often mentioned thing was a good chunk of the reason the electoral college came about in the first place was a concession to slave states. It was never some profoundly wise thing made in accordance with good government. It was always a half-assed compromise at best.

President Trump was incessantly maligned and obstructed by career politicians (nearly every one a democrat, running on a platform of victim/identity politics) who make fortunes from insider trading (PELOSI) and criminal, treasonous misdeeds (BIDEN), and the sycophantic, sophomoric millenial punks that run the newsrooms in LA, NYC, PHI, and CHI and do the paid bidding of those career politicians and the lobbyists they represent.
