Christianity... Is It Worth Putting Up With For A Girl?

I know how it feels because sometimes like whne dating church girls it feels so awkward like they are already married... to Jesus!

i took and interest in this thread mainly because of the lame advice you were getting.

Lame advice?

IF she's a genuine, dogmatic born-again Christian (which hasn't been definitively established) the advice he got is spot on.
They don't "play games" when it comes to their faith. That faith is central to their life.
You can't shuck and jive them; they aren't vulnerable to your standard dating tactics.
The bottom line is you're either one of them or you're not, and if you're not a gulf exists between the two of you that can not be bridged.

You can take my word on this, I've been in exactly the same situation as the thread author. The girl in question and I ended up being great friends, but there was no way she could partner with someone that didn't share the specific born-again philosophy (which is much MUCH more hardcore than ordinary Christianity) that defined her life.

If she is an evangelical christian then she will by law be a completely mindless fool, if you are good at suffering such fools you may get along great.

If you have to change who you are or your convictions just to go out with a girl then no she's not worth it.

Turn on a porn flich where Gianna Michaels has about ten guys cumming on her face and see how she reacts! Either she'll pray for you or let you cum on her face and you'll know!

Religious chicks always turn out to be nastiest because they're so repressed.

Take her on as a project. You won't regret it.

My girlfriend used to be a Christian (she was Catholic) but she never practiced her beliefs and neither did her family (and now she and her whole family are Atheists). Many religious women can snap out of the religious brainwashing that happened while others do not. On occasion you do get people who were once born morons (I mean Christians, my bad) but they snap out of it, how that happens varies but the most common was that they realised they were being taken advantage of. My advice will be to try her out, take her out on a date, who knows? Maybe you will find out she is a very different person and that she may be intolerant to your beliefs and social views whatever they are.

Religion & Christianity aren't necessarily exclusive. Religions are organizations made up of mostly hypocrites. Christianity is faith based in spiritually and doesn't require religion. It's much more difficult to break through someone's faith with ridiculous bullshit than it is to bullshit some bible thumping hypocrite.

Though I usually cringe when people put there personal lives on here, I'm gonna reach in a little and ask some advice.
Long story short, been in love with a girl (bosses daughter! *gulp!*) for a loooong time, we've been friends, I finally broke it down to her today and she seemed a little interested.
Only bomb she dropped was that she was into Christianity (which I knew) and that she needed a man who was into the same things as her and wanted to get right with god first before getting back into a relationship (shes divorced 2 years).

I've heard horror stories about dealing with Christians and that it was usually THEIR way or no way...I've been in love with this chick for years and I've made up my mind to do whatever it takes........I'm about as holy as Swiss Cheese and go to church for weddings and funerals only!

Run away from her! Your life will be miserable. Rampant Christians are the most hypocritical people on the planet, next to politicians.

Any woman that says "my man needs to fear god" or some bullshit like that is a woman who has a lot of growing up to do.

Seek your companionship elsewhere

Like I said, most christian oriented people are just like I typed, small "c" christians. Hell, I was raised a catholic and my parents never once preached a word of scripture to me. Hell, I've engaged in sex with a fair number of women outside of marriage, I cuss, drink booze, frequent this site and I've ingested illegal narcotics.

I also keep clear of ANY extremists be they political or religious.

Did I just type "Hell" ? /\:mad:/\ :1orglaugh

Catholics "learn" "the Word" directly from the Priest. Private biblical reading is discouraged. This is how they brainwash the laity.

The Pagans had the right approach to everything...
