Christianity... Is It Worth Putting Up With For A Girl?

If she needs someone who has the same beliefs as her....then IMO it doesn't sound good for a relationship other than friendship to work between the two of you.

If she is willing to accept the fact you are willing to re-think your beliefs about religion then ya'll might have a shot.

It has been my experience, and observations over the years I am an old fart that relationships are a two-way street. If only one person has to make changes to make it work....then it won't work long term.

Good luck bro..I hope it can work out the way you want :glugglug:

Just don't compromise yourself. If she forces you to get baptized and give up on porn then it would be a good idea to GTFO.:2 cents:

Just say you're down with JC :fist bump: even if you really aren't. Lying to yourself is a healthy and large part of any relationship, so get used to it, it'll give you much needed practice in order to impress the next flock who waft your way whenever the time comes. Go to church with her, cry at the same passages she cries at, give 10% of your monthly salary to the church like a good little Christian boy. But just be sure you're getting as much ass as humanly possible as some sort of compensation.

You may even get a promotion out of it which is always nice I suppose.

What's a lifetime of lying to yourself when you can get a raise and fuck something, right?

You sir...are a fucking madman..totally insane.....brilliant...but insane!!! :D

:glugglug:

Didn't he just ask us that?

:dunno:
If it's something that you have to constantly think about and be on your best behavior for, it's really not worth it at all. That's what I'm saying. You can only delude yourself for so long, so don't.

first you need to figure if you like her or love her huge difference if you love a woman truly you would walk a mile on broken glass for her if its anything else tell her the truth do you wanna lie and have her figure it out later

One thing you haven't considered, if you take the plunge you won't be able to come back to this unholy site again and you'll see the rest of us as Satans children destined to rot in hell for eternity for our wicked ways. Could you live with that?

I see a problem with this. Unless you think you want to go there spiritually or you truly want that to be a part of your life then you are just going to be lying to her and maybe even worse to yourself if you don't really believe it in your heart. The very fact you are using the words, "putting up with" makes me have strong doubts about you really wanting that to be a part of your life. You need to dig down within yourself, search out the truth, and be completely honest with yourself about how you feel both about her and how you feel about you. Then you need to tell her about how you truly feel. She can either except that about you or not, but at least both of you will know where you stand.

I don't blame her for looking for what she wants in a significant other either. I can completely understand why she would want a man like that if that if that's a big part of her life, but if you try to fool either her or yourself all your going to do is bring a disservice to both of you, and it's almost assured of not ending well. If you really do love her you will try to do it honestly.

Devious, yet brilliant. :hatsoff:

No. I once went out with a chick who was a big time Catholic, when she found out I was an ex-Catholic she made it her mission to "save me". Bottomline, from my own experiences there's no way I'd be able to stand being around someone big time into religion as eventually I'd share my ideas about their faith and BOOM! There goes the relationship.

You people...and what if I am a Christian?

The way I look at it, is if you really have a genuine attraction and strong feelings for this girl. Who cares if she is Christrian, Protestant, or Miscellaneous, aside from that the world is yours captain.

I'd have to save you.

But we'd still make wonderful love. That would be part of the "mission."

You're a scary man dirk, a scary man indeed.

1 Corinthians 13
….. 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

That’s what she sees as love.
Since you said you love this girl then I am assuming she’s not just going to be a piece of ass and you want an ongoing relationship.
As a Christian myself I would be heartbroken to be in a relationship I felt was love only to find out its bogus. So, if you love the girl you don’t want to hurt her. Let her know where you’re at with God. Totally against it? Tell her. Curious? Tell her. Willing to hear her side of it? Tell her. She will need to make the decision.

As for putting up with Christianity we are not that bad. Some Christians are flat out nuts but we can also be loving partners should you two get together
Hugs and Hissessss,
Maria
