Best Close Combat Weapons

A penis.

It doesn't have to be your own - even though mine has gotten me out of quite a few jams in my time, and into a few as well ;). But, just having a spare penis in your pocket comes in quite handy when you're in a bit of a pickle.

You should also probably pickle it as well ... for freshness' sake.

My left-right-left hook...watch my feet. You my hooker now.

Plenty of choices over at www.coldsteel.com

I have several items that they make. The bats are damn near the perfect choice, Indian war club, even the walking canes are nice. A friend wailed on a brick wall with the bat and left no damage on the bat and smashed the hell out of the bricks.

It's too bad you can't get an old fashioned switch blade anymore. My buddy had one from Europe he got from a friend. It was cool as shit; about 5-6 inches as well. Another friend of mine had some cool stiletto's from his dad. They were nice high quality as well.

Hachet to be honest.....Nice and sharp and well weighted so when you throw it like a tomahawk it will get lodged:p

Keep a biro on you. You can use it to stab in the eye, the throat, temple etc. It's 100% legal and functional too.

I can't really remember. I think it was on another forum I thought it was an intuitive subject. I also think Chef's thread on the machete bandits in Nigeria reminded me of it as well.

I always wanted to learn Jiu Jitsu. But I've seen some real war stories play out before my eyes and Martial Arts can only take you so far when it comes to street fights. I never want to get into with a wrestler. They concern me the most. They can tie you up and do quite a bit of damage. Best technic to go for is to break a limb if you get into with some ogar. ;) Kick 'em in the balls is a good techniqe as well and a swift punch to the throat as well.

Until they invent something like a lightsaber the best close combat weapon is and is going to keep being a knife, sword or some variant of that. There is a reason it's been the most common and popular one (Other than maybe a spear which is much earlier and cheaper to make.) used for thousands of years now. (And that even ignores that a lightsaber would just another kind of sword if it was invented.)
