it really shouldn't matter on how old the guy was that she married. nobody can really say whether or not she really loved him. love is a strange thing that comes in many ways.

as for the her making millions and still having problems, well money doesn't solve everything and it isn't the cure all.

Thoughtful post to a silly thread. I don't know how she felt about this man neither ,but from all accounts she made the guy happy. From an article I read he wasn't particularly fond of his sons & even disinherited one which has been upheld by the courts as well.

If it were my 'billionaire' father(or mother) & they found someone 50 years their junior that gave them some semblance of true happiness at the end of their lives I would be happy for them.

And although someone claimed he was senile he was aware enough to disinherit one child & he did NOT include Anna Nicole Smith in his will. In fact had I been his son I would have given her a small gift of appreciation IF she truly spent time with my Father. But the will indicates she didn't prove she was entitled to half.

Why? Girk has a good point. It's the guys money, he can do whatever he wants with it. He's the one that earned it, no one else, so they don't get to have a say in it. From accounts it seems he didn't really like his family all that much, so what did they do to deserve it? Just because they were related to him? You could make the exact same allegations as you did against Smith, that they were just greedy and trying to get his money too.

I never liked Anna Nicole Smith, but I also can't really put all the blaim on her. Depending on the some accounts the guy was mentally sound more or less. Whether anybody likes it or not, he did in fact marry her. Not only that it was his money. There should be no talk of it being the families money until he gives it to them. It might not have been the wisest decision and it might not have been the one I would have made, but it was his decision.

I should also say that if my father didn't leave me with anything, and he really though he had a good reason for doing so, I wouldn't use that to hold anything against him. I don't base my love or somebody else's love for me on what I can get out of them.
