This is starting to go off-topic. If you want to start a thread about that stupid event, go for it and you can discuss it all you want, but enough is enough. This is a football thread. It's not about a guy, football player or not, hitting some woman.

Did the Buckeyes forget there was a game scheduled today? :1orglaugh

Worst bad beat story for 2016: Had Arkansas +10 1/2 as the anchor of a four team 3 point teaser. The first three teams won. At half time, with the points included, Arky was leading Virginia Tech 34 1/2 to nothing. So what happens? V Tech scores 35 unanswered points in the second half. I lose by a 1/2 point.

:facepalm: :facepalm::facepalm:

Clemson won their first and only national championship in the same month a president was inaugurated that nobody thought could win.

I think they upset Alabama this time.

Interesting factoid.
I'm sure not expecting a blowout. But I do think that Bama defense will make the difference, and that they'll prevail by somewhere between 3 and 10 points.

Ohio State certainly embarrassed the selection committee, didn't they? After all the hours of intense analysis and justification for choosing a team that not only wasn't a conference champion but also lost heads up TO the conference champion the Buckeyes laid a big steaming :baconsalt: in the committee's New Year stocking lol

The CFP continues to be a popularity contest based on "historical programs" pushed by the committee and the likes of Kirk Herbstreit, just as it always has been. It's laughable to listen to the homers justify their reason, why their team especially, should be in the CFP. Having to listen to Kirk and Desmond all season long talking about OSU and UM, and which one of their teams should be in the CFP, was nauseating.

And they both sucked!!! Neither should have been considered.
USC will pound penn state today and the laughable big ten will be where it should be.

I've always hated Herbstreit. People in his position are supposed to be objective, and he's one of the least objective announcers I've ever seen. He pushes his alma mater like a car salesman.

Is Alabama's victory as inevitable as Hillary Clinton's? If Clemson wins I will celebrate by grabbing someone by the pussy.

I was trying to figure out the "2-17" on Clemson's jerseys. What's going to happen February 17th? And then I realized it was 2017 with the Championship logo substituted for the zero.

Congratulations to all the "experts" and their awarding the national championship to the wrong team prematurely. These morons all look pretty embarrassing as usual.

I figured Clemson would pull this one out. My father did too and he's an Alabama fan!
