Florida QB getting hurt and the luck continues for UA.

--Skov is out for the season at the ILB position for the Cardinal. I like the team a lot, but we'll see what kind of impact this has on the pass rush.
--Jesus, Wisconsin is tough. Five games: Scored: 242. Allowed: 51. And they're serious. Coach Bielema went on vacation with his former assistant Dave Doeren, then made his coaches change the playbook before he played him.
--Clemson. Three ranked opponents in a row, three victories. Why can't this be love?
--I love the way the SEC East stresses defense. Unfortunately for the rest of us, they also stress offense, special teams, coaching and speed.
--Sparty is pumping his fists. Fine. But Cousins is still not Earl Morrall. And in order not to disappoint again, it may take more than an impressive D-line beating up a bunch of benchwarmers.

Luck???damn if i see that??i dont see the qb getting hurt making any difference..he wasnt doing to good before he got hurt,,,but how the hell do you get luck out of 38 - 10?? florida couldnt beat bama yesterday with 2 qbs at the same time. the luck i seen was the very first play of the game..good thing they had that luck..or they would have been denied the endzone in their own front yard ROLLLLLLL TIDEEEE:wave:

I have been saying Wisconsin is underrated and is a top 5 team easily for a minute now, and they are showing it. I really would love to see a cold weather bowl matchup b/t the Badgers and Tide... probably won't happen though.

My Irish are finally playing up to what they look like on paper. I am pleased with this, but I just can't look past the early losses. I won't.

Clemson is smelling like this years version of last years Auburn. They got a little fight in em' and that coach gets fired up with those guys. Nobody is quick to go play in Death Valley this year.

Once again, the SEC is GROSSLY overrated. Alabama and LSU are right where they should be. Everyone else came in too fucking high in the polls and it is showing like John Daly golf trousers. Arkansas, Miss. St., South Carolina, and now Florida looking more and more weak by the week.

...and Boise... just wins and then sits in the corner somewhere.

Great team speed. They should run the table, but it's Clemson, so they probably won't.
Still scratching my head over that life or death 8 point win at home over powerhouse Wofford :wtf:
Would like to see a rematch with Florida State at a neutral site but unfortunately that's not going to happen.

This week's top 10

1) Stanford
2) Alabama
3) LSU
4) Oklahoma
5) Wisconsin
6) Oregon
7) Clemson
8) Boise State
9) Arkansas
10) Arizona State

Wow K-State is turning out to be a real sleeper in the Big 12 this year. Collin Klein is terrific. I may start drinking some purple kool-aid after they took out Baylor yesterday. Bill Snyder is one helluva coach....seems to get the best out of his players year after year.

UT really looked great against ISU and OU blew out Ball State (big surprise, huh?). Next week comes the shootout (fuck the PC name "Red River Rivalry"....what a tongue twister). OU has to be the heavy favorite (probably 8-10 pts is my guess) but I'd give the new-look 'Horns a puncher's chance if they can play stout D and get a few turnovers. Always a great game....can't wait.

The Northwesten-Illinois game was incredible. Illinois is 5-0 and Scheelhaase looks like he's coming of age as a passer at last. And A.J. Jenkins....man, what a wideout! Too bad they are in the same division with Wisconsin.

Alabama....Wisconsin....LSU....all look to be the real deal. Some great teams this year....looks like more BCS mayhem on the horizon!

Oh....and Texas A&M? All I can say is :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

BCT

Pucker Up Butter Cup.
T-Magic???? More like T-Tragic, Wisconsin gave the Huskers quite the ass raping, I just hope they lubed before the game!

Well Titsrock you were right, Mississippi State is :baconsalt: :1orglaugh
Big falloff from last year. Too bad, they looked like a team on the rise.

to say the least..i was looking for a lot more..but they have had a rough road...georgia has improved ..and i think the first 2 games let the air out of miss st...but..before the year is over i still say they will beat some teams it dont look like they should beat..if they ever get it together they are not bad...and the luck has worked against them bad..in every game

LOL, the fact that UF scored at all was luck... they had shit rushing all night and were physically dominated by a much better coached and disciplined team at home.

Unless they slip up, there is no team that SHOULD be able to beat Bama except for LSU this season...

USCe sucked the big one, they looked terrible against Auburn.

A seriously myopic and SEC-slanted viewpoint whose logic is easily understood. I need to see more of Oklahoma and Wisconsin before I can agree with you. The season is still young....we'll see how things play out.

i wanna see as many undefeated teams as possible this year..they may get the message as someone already said WE NEED A DAMN PLAYOFF... wonder whos getting fucked this year?....they do every year

The only other one that I see that could beat them is Auburn. I know Auburn is really struggling, but as I live in Alabama, I've learned no matter how good one of them is, or how bad the other may be, both teams play the Iron Bowl as if their life depended on the outcome.

2009, the year Alabama won the NC. In Chizik's first year, Auburn was struggling thru that year, but in the Iron Bowl, Alabama trailed for 58 minutes and 36 seconds before finally getting a touchdown and escaping with a 5 point win.

And don't forget Brodie Croyle's last Iron Bowl. Bama was favored, but poor Brodie spent most of the day running for his life and taking 11 sacks!

the thing i love about the intense rivalries like Alabama/Auburn edition is that records and statistics go out the window with them, and anything could really happen

Congrats to Sparty! Great D! Lousy O, I expected more from Cousins! Bucks are terrible!

Actually, the offense was fantastic. They just made a number of mistakes which prevented them actually scoring. But they moved the ball very well. That game could have easily been a blowout, the score was very kind for the Buckeyes, which'll probably prevent even more deserved criticism they should be getting.

Wisconsin looks like a fucking beast. I can't see anyone on their schedule beating them, nor anyone who could beat them in the BTC. Best chance is probably at Illinois, the Illini have a history of upsets and they already beat ASU in Champaign.

Great analogy, they really do look like this year's Auburn.

Not bad, though Stanford at 1 is crazy dude. Going on merit, Stanford has played garbage ass teams. The rest looks good, including the respect for the Sun Devils.

Amazing how different they are...

That really jumped out at me too. That, and how ridiculously low Arizona State is. At Illinois is the only loss, and Illinois is looking pretty good right now.

Except Georgia-Florida. Intense as hell, but Georgia can't win no matter what.

Mega, Michigan is looking pretty decent. At the very least they're better than the mediocre Dirk and I predicted. Still a pretty challenging road ahead, although they catch a big break not having to play Wisconsin.

Tell me you're not listening to Sir Shirking Quirk when it comes to college football?

Well, I don't want to jinx anything, but our schedule is pretty favorable (seems like MSU and OShUcks suck, Neb appears to be 'solvable' so too is Iowa) and our secret weapon (Borges) is well known by those in the know for designing gorgeous game plans. So when it was theorized by I think smoknn that Blue is lurking but a few people declared he was smoknn something...I believed at the time smoknn would be a last-laugher on that one.

I really think borges willl be like a kid in a candy store at UM. If we can keep him...not sure if he has HC aspirations or not since I'd think he's had a couple of opportunities and hasn't taken them.

Sometimes I think Borges not only has books of plays but books of playbooks...I was sold when he not only turned UCLA into one of the most prolific passing attacks (actually balanced) in cfb but then turned Auburn into one of the most bonecrushing running attacks in cfb later...

The guy is an offensive witch doctor.:2 cents: Hoke says he doesn't even put his headphones on when the offense is on the field because he doesn't want to interfere with the offense...I say he's a wise man.

LSU could be a spoiler in all this[/QUOTE]

im a bama fan..but i give credit where its due...it has nothing to do with the fact that i hate that yellow bunch...im not a big auburn fan but i praised them all year last year (it hurt but i done It!...im not seeing in lsu what Everyyy one else is....if you watched the lsu WV game ..in the second half..wv came out and popped 2 touchdowns in minutes bam bam..now wv dont go in my top 5...that i cant forget...as for the yeller fellers at lsu...they got their hands full with a bunch from florida with blood in the eyes..lets see where this goes.........:wave: iin fear of being the (casey anthony) of this board..i refuse to state what i think yet???
