Imagine how good a unified "Korea" would be if there were one. Or not...
So North Korea is in the 'group of death'? Are they any good? Should be Brazil and Spain coming out of there, but Ivory Coast could make some noise.

I am soooo happy that I live in an all Brazilian neighborhood because of those girls and the 80 degree weather today, sadly they are playing N.Korea today and I got to go with the team that is part of my ethnicity, even though "Dear Leader" is an asshole and will probadly have the N. Korean team excuted if they loose in the tournement.
So far it has been an awful World Cup. No decent matches, the constant ****** racket from those bastard horns, and not much prospect of it improving either. Even Ivory Coast v Portugal has blown so far.
Slovakia has confirmed itself again as "useless country".
The match Ivory Coast - Portugal (one of the worst team) was boring.
And now... Poor North Korea, a match with they and South Korea or United States it would be really interesting.

I don't think that Argentina, Germany, Spain or (LOL) Netherlands have the possibility to win something.

Truth! Argentina could have played better but they were satisfied with their early lead. Portugal and Ivory.Coast were afraid of each other, knowing darn well that the loser of that match has only a slim chance to advance to the next round. I don't know what was wrong with the Dutch. And the English were just ****** awful.
I still have hopes for Brazil and Spain playing entertaining matches. The first round was shite so far. Not that this fact would be anything unusual for a World Cup. The last two tournaments were big letdowns as well.
I think the last international championship that delivered was EURO 04 with a lot of teams that were willing to ******, not afraid that the other side could score as long as you score one goal more than your opponent. This World Cup has been stale at best. Too many sides try to play it safe, while others lack the depth to perform. I've always said that 32 teams are at least 8 too many. :2 cents:

Absolutely I have to root for my beloved Yankees first and foremost, even though the talent out there is far better than them. It's still a game that can be played defensively to defeat better opponents. Unlike basketball, football, tennis or some other sports.
