Nicolas Almagro won the ATP 250 of Baastad, beating local hero Robin Soderling in three sets. It's his 6th career title, first in the last 18 months.
For the Swedish Assassin was his 4th final of the year, 6th in the last 13 months. Not bad at all.
Nico will be in next week's tournament in Hamburg (ATP 500)

Albert Montañés won the ATP 250 of Stuttgart, beating frenchman Gael Monfils, who retired in the 2nd set. It's his 5th career title, his 5th win in his last 5 finals, second title of the year, 4th in the last 15 months.
For Monfils, it was his first final of the year, 3rd in the last 10 months.
They both will be playing next week in Hamburg.
