Miami (FL) at Virginia--If the Canes lose this one....:wave2: Shannon.
Oklahoma St. at Kansas St. (I'll go with the Manhattan crazies on Halloween...)
Purdue at Illinois (Andro gets bent over by the Zookies )
Northwestern at Indiana (easy win for the Wildcats)
Tennessee at South Carolina (No chance for the Vols here..a beatdown)

Clemson at Boston College (BC can play defense but no offense.)
Tulsa at Notre Dame  The less said the better here...
Louisville at Pittsburgh (Close game here...maybe OT thriller)
Florida vs. Georgia :)yesyes: Dawgs bark off somethin' somethin')
Missouri at Nebraska (Yikes, the Huskers open a can here...)
Michigan St. at Iowa (Sparty baby!)
Arizona at UCLA (Maybe the Weazel gets fired at halftime )
Texas Tech at Texas A & M (Not likin' A&M this year at all)
California at Oregon St. (Cal can't do crap on the road this year)
Auburn at Mississippi (Ol Miss is in over their heads this week..)
Baylor at Texas (Who knows which Longhorn team will show? :dunno)
Stanford at Washington (Winning QB gets drafted #1)
Kentucky at Mississippi St. (I'm likin' what I see in Starky this season)
Utah at Air Force (It's bomb's away on the Air Force..)
Oregon at USC Halloween horror for the sons of Bodie :thefinger
Ohio St. at Minnesota (zzzZZZZzzzZZZZzzz)
Michigan at Penn St. (Close win for Papa here...maybe in OT)
Colorado at Oklahoma (Hawk...sigh...you stink, dude)
Utah St. at Nevada A blowout here helps Boise WOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Me do me picks :D

Miami (FL) at Virginia (Carnage.)
Oklahoma St. at Kansas St. (Daniel Thomas and Justin Blackmon may be the best players no one gives a shit about)
Purdue at Illinois (How the hell are these teams a combined 8-5?)
Northwestern at Indiana (I agree with Jag, hangover)
Tennessee at South Carolina (I wouldn't count out UT though)
Clemson at Boston College (Closer than expected)
Tulsa at Notre Dame (If ND had the balls to go to Tulsa I'd go the other way on this one)
Louisville at Pittsburgh (Not today for muh boy Charlie Strong)
Florida vs. Georgia (at Jacksonville) (Though it's unimaginable to see us lose 4 in a row.....Ron Zook didn't even lose 3 straight)
Missouri at Nebraska
Michigan St. at Iowa (I'm nervous)
Arizona at UCLA (Underrated mini-rivalry in the Pac-10)
Texas Tech at Texas A & M (I still haven't given up on the Aggies)
California at Oregon St. (Cal on the road? Please.)
Auburn at Mississippi (Doesn't completely kill their title hopes though)
Baylor at Texas (Baylor is the better team. And no one realizes that TCU kicked the shit outta them. Another reason TCU should be ranked ahead of Boise State)
Stanford at Washington (Remember when Stanford humbled UW after UW had upset USC? Think they don't remember that?)
Kentucky at Mississippi St.
Utah at Air Force (Doesn't mean Utah still isn't really good)
Oregon at USC (That's right, I got both Auburn and Oregon losing. TCU and MSU numbers 1 and 2!!)
Ohio St. at Minnesota (Minnesota couldn't beat Ohio let alone Ohio State)
Michigan at Penn St.
Colorado at Oklahoma (I would not be surprised if OU had a letdown and CU won)
Utah St. at Nevada (Well at least Utah State can hold on to the memory of beating BYU for the first time in like 639 years)
TCU at UNLV (If UNLV got in the end zone, it'd be a big surprise)

How about some love for ECU-UCF?? The 2 best teams in Conference USA. Goin with the Knights.

Tulsa at Notre Dame (N.D. has something to prove this week because of the student that was killed on campus while filming a football practice. They've dedicated the game to him, and they aren't going to lose it at home to Tulsa.)

I didn't hear all the details, but the local sportstalk radio panel was convinced Kelly might end up in very hot water over this.

Poor kid....Jesus, what a sad and terrible waste :(

It is a sad and terrible waste. But Kelly won't be in hot water over this. He wasn't involved.

I thought about putting that one up but ran out of matchups to fill the 25. I must admit I'm not giving CUSA much exposure at all here this season so I'll try to beef that up next week. I too will take the Golden Knights in Mousetown.

First "Whaaaaat??!!" call of the day....

Commentator Brian Griese on ESPN during Miami-Virginia game after 'Canes QB Jacory Harris made a nice throw to wideout LaRon Byrd for a first down:

"....as you can see on the replay, the ball was out of his (Harris') hand before Byrd caught the football".

OK ....thanks for the insight there, Brian!!

:dunno::confused::wtf:

Miami better get rolling here....really slow start.

Wow! I knew you were a domer homer, but to deny that Kelly wasn’t involved is just an insult to anyone’s intelligence. Kelly is the Head Coach of the whole football program. Negligence that cost a young man his life is not ok just because it’s done by a slick new head football coach.

The afternoon before the tragedy, Ohio State’s Coach Jim Tressel when asked about practice the following day said “I don’t know if we’ll be inside or out. It looks a little nasty. I worry about our cameramen, their well-being up there 50 feet in the air.” This was said even though the Ohio State University put in permanent towers that are much sturdier than the hydraulic scissors towers used by Notre Dame.

Kelly ignored the risks and a young man died.

Wow, what a weird day.

Michigan State: You fucked up. Bad
Missouri: Bye, bye.
Miami (FL): WTF?
Purdue: Actually managed to score a few points.
Florida: won in overtime. Fucking BCS will likely put them in the top 15 next week.
Notre Dame: Why the fuck would you throw with 43 seconds left with a true freshman quarterback when the perfect position you have would give you a field goal for the win? Bad, bad, bad call. N.D. may be done winning for the year, as Crist is out for the season. That guy could be good, if he'd grow some fucking knees.

Hahaha. The Aflack question:
How many Head Coaching changes have been made in NCAA tier 1 football since Joe Paterno took over as Head coach for Penn St.?

Answer: 863.
