Ducks remaining schedule:

Washington at Eugene - this should be a blowout win.
Cal at Cal - Cal can be tough at home but there's no way Cal's defense can hang with the Ducks.
Arizona at Eugene - The Wildcats are good but still seem very unlikely to beat the Ducks at Eugene esp with the Ducks having 2 weeks to prep for the game.
Oregon State at Corvallis - This one is the worry...rivalry game...at OSU....ouch!

the only team i think can beat them is bama

I don't think 'Bama can beat team and this is why as good as they are there is still a question on their defense don't forget about the Arkansas and South Carolina game and heir offense is not made for a track meet. You have to remember my friend oregon just needs one or two stops on defense and before you know it they are up by two touchdown just like last night and that defense of the Ducks is getting better and better.Once again not taking anything away from 'Bama but I don't think they can hang and right now I know this for sure as of Oct.31,2010 I have Oregon in the National champion i just don't know who they will be playing, but hey that is me.:hatsoff:

im on the ducks bandwagon for sure...why i pick bama? the two headed monster running game, control the clock...how to slow down that offense? keep them off the field and score...run the ball and control the clock...i think bama's D is good enough to slow down the ducks...bama is still i believe one of the top 3 teams in the nation...it's like everyone forgot about bama...they still have the heisman trophy winner and are last years champs...i believe bama will beat auburn...nick saban teams are way to talented and disapline on D...but the question is will a one loss bama team jump a unbeaten BSU or TCU...if oregon is unbeaten too...oregon will be a lock if they run the table...only question is will bama jump BSU or TCU to get into the title game? cuz i believe bama will run the table in the rest of there games

Outstanding point my friend. The one thing I do see which is a sad thing is I do see 'Bama jumping TCU and BSU because of their schudule Hawaii and Neveda has to win out the only problem is the they both have to play Boise.now ball control 'Bama has that and you can't score if you don't have the ball.P.S. trust me i did not forget about Alabama

I agree 100%. Auburn and Cam Newton are awesome but Alabama is a much more complete team than the Tigers are. Should 'Bama win out, the question truly becomes how many style points can they put up to overtake BSU and their creampuff schedule. And does TCU overtake BSU if they beat Utah next week? These are the only real questions that remain as far as the way the BCS title game is concerned. If the Ducks win out, they're in for sure. If they should somehow lose....

some espn person was saying BSU vs SEC champ, in the title game...cuz that would end all of the talk, to see if BSU belongs or not...to me, i would love to see that match up too...but oregon vs bama/auburn i would like to see more...just me tho...i believe if bama wins out they should jump an unbeaten BSU or TCU to play in the title game

i'd like to see BSU go against the loser of auburn/bama in a BCS game...not the title game but just a BCS game...then of course the title game would be oregon vs the winner of the SEC...my dream match up...how about the heisman? if newton loses to bama and oregon wins out...and lamichael james has huge numbers...who wins the heisman?

They said on ESPN in all likelyhood Oregon will meet the Alabama/Auburn winner (I think Oregon can beat Auburn but they'd get beaten by Bama), and Boise will likely meet the Big 10 Champ in the Rose Bowl.

USA Today poll and AP poll :2 cents:

41-31 ... three years in a row ... sweet! :nanner:

So it starts Auburn jumps Boise:facepalm:The only problem I have with that is who had the better win Auburn or Boise. It seems Mississippi found some weakness in Auburn's offense and Boise did not win by 50 but this is the same Mississippi team that La Teah I guess they (The poll) Auburn played a tougher team and had a better victory but my thing about that is that lost to Jacksonville by Ole Miss should hurt Auburn oh well what the hell do I know.

The problem with Boise State is that they should have taken a page out of Bobby Bowden's book as to how he got Florida State on the map. He did so by agreeing to travel to play good teams and not demanding ridiculous amounts of money or requesting to split home-and-home games. Boise State's out-of-conference schedule should be like a travelling road show with nothing but top tier SEC and Pac-10 teams. When you play in a lesser conference and don't even have to go through a conference championship game at that, the vast majority of people will have no sympathy when you get leap-frogged left and right.

Is that what it is.Hell I thought no one else wanted to play them damn I feel like a real ass.Damn good point

Did Notre Dame schedule Tulsa because they thought it would be a great game and the irish thought they'd give Tulsa their shot at the big time? No. The irish scheduled Tulsa because they assumed it would be a nice cupcake to feast on before their end-of-season big games. Tulsa has no pretensions to ever be a National Championship calibre team. Let me know when the Irish will be scheduling that trip to Tulsa to play the Golden Hurricanes.

Big brand name teams like Nebraska, Okie, Texas, USC, Florida State gain nothing by scheduling and losing to Boise State. Boise State needs these giant named programs to come to Boise so they can demand public money to upgrade their facilities. Idaho is a poor state, and the idea of spending public money on sports facilities is a tough sell for that state. It will require tax increases. Big named schools will schedule mid-major teams when they believe they will administer beatings to those mid-major teams. I don't think the ADs at Big Boy University thinks that a game against Boise, at home, will be a stroll in the park.

It isn't as simple as "just schedule the giant names for your OOC" every year...travel costs only increase every year. The Broncos don't have the money that an SEC team has or Ohio State has by loading up and selling out 90,000-100,000 people stadiums 8 times a year.

Notre Dame schedules their opponents because they are Notre Dame. NBC ain't knocking on Boise State's door offering them an exclusive television contract. Sorry, but it IS as easy as scheduling out of conference opponents when your objective is to earn a shot to play in a National Championship game, it's as easy as simply picking up a phone. I hope you aren't falling victim to the sanctamoneous underdog feel good story Boise tried desperately to convey to the country, only to have themselves exposed as seen here:

A. That's an ancient link.
B. ADs are notorious for lying about everything. Every AD has talked with and turned down every team for every game everywhere...:dunno: It means nothing, and Bama is the worst for making up shit about playing everybody or that everybody wants to play Bama. I assure you there are plenty of great teams who simply don't want to kowtow to the myopic whims of Bama :dunno:

C. Michigan State and Boise are opening the 2012 season. Michigan State is offering up $1.2mil  That seems like a lot, but Sparty is rolling in the $$$$ this season :o

Ancient my ass. That's from this year. And athletic directors do not lie about scheduling games. They have no reason to (especially when you're the AD of the defending National Champions). Alabama's AD didn't say Boise is ducking them, he said they flat out HAVEN'T EVEN CALLED. If that were a lie I'm pretty sure Boise State would have responded, which they didn't. You'll be hardpressed to garner any sympathy when you aren't even trying to toughen up your schedule.
