true..lets break this down...#1 lt scored 20 points...#2 they was in the red zone 3 times and came away empty #3 they got 2 scores given to them on kickoff fumbles(dont look for this kind of bullshit out of a GOOD team) if la tech can do all that..auburn or bama would run over them like a lawn mower......cream puff after cream puff after cream puff.....i would like to see them play ole miss vandy and tenn back to back..i would lay odds..one of them would point boise to the right bus

Ole Miss, Vandy, and Tennessee?? Please, Boise would beat those teams each by 30. Ole Miss gave up 38 points to Fresno State. If Vanderbilt and Lousiana Tech played a game on a neutral field, that's about a 50-50 game, could go either way. Nevada, Fresno State, and Hawaii would ALL beat Vanderbilt and Tennessee. And there's no way in hell Auburn would run over Boise. They're defense allows teams to stay in games. And personally, I dislike Boise State (I prefer Frenso State outta the WAC) and like the SEC. Lol and I heard David Pollack say on ESPN he thinks Boise State would win the SEC East. Way to go out on a fucking limb.

Tennessee has shown flashes of greatness, for having a new coach, again,, they will be better soon.

But, I don't knw if anyone can hang with Auburn in the SEC this year..

Cam Newton has to be a lock on this years Heisman Trophy winner. The guy is a force and superb athlete.

dont tease me like that jag..we got tenn miss st lsu and auburn coming up...if we win out..im going to start thinkng we could maybe win another NC.??? no..maybe..possible??

Of course it could happen. If Alabama wins out, that means Auburn has a loss (head-to-head against 'Bama) and the Tide wins the SEC championship game (most likely against Auburn again). Exit Auburn. If Oregon, Michigan State and Missouri lose sometime this year (not an unreasonable chance of all 3 happening this weekend in fact), Alabama is suddenly #3 (remember, it's always better to lose early than late). They will likely jump over either TCU or BSU as those teams play out their creampuff schedules and lose ground in the BCS. Oh, and poor Utah is the odd man out and can't catch any of those three teams no matter what. At that stage, I think an Alabama-BSU/TCU national championship game is a lock. No way will it be BSU against TCU....no fucking way! The BCS madness goes on and on....I still think the Ducks and 'Bama are the two best teams and would make an awesome championship game.

If he (Cam Newton) does not get hurt I think it (the Heisman) is his to lose.

I agree 100%. He is a bigger, stronger Vince Young. I am still waiting to see him win a game with his arm but so far that hasn't been necessary. The guy is a freak. That TD run he made last week was one for the ages.

OK everyone....I'll put up the "Pick 25" tomorrow and I would like some suggestions for prizes. In the meantime, who wins tonight? FSU a 3 1/2 point road favorite over NC State. Hmmm.....sounds eerily similar to OU-Mizzou last week and we all know what happened there. Sorry Raider but this game is a must win for the Wolfpack if they are to have any hopes of taking the Atlantic division and I think somehow they pull it off.

FSU at NC State in a close one.

There's one small problem with your scenario Jagger, this year's Iron Bowl (Auburn/Alabama) will decide who wins the SEC West, and there is zero chance of a rematch after that, so if the Tigers lose, they are out period, dot. I might be nitpicking a little, but with the state of the SEC East right now, the SEC title game might not help Alabama get in the BCS Championship game.

 Duhhh....my bad. That's what I get for thinking! :D Well, maybe this year they SHOULD let Alabama and Auburn play for the title since the East is so weak. :1orglaugh

Regardless, the pollsters LOVE the SEC and their champion (even with 1 loss) will be a serious contender for the BCS title no matter what. Besides, somebody in a non-BCS conference will lose next week when Utah and TCU play (my guess is Utah bites the bullet). This is a great scenario for all of us who despise the BCS and the ridiculous manner in which the NCAA football champion is determined.

There is still a lot of football to be played. However, imagine what it would be like to have two non-BCS teams as the only undefeated teams left in Division 1 at the end of the year!! What a delightful mess for the rest of us! ;)

'Noles are sloooooow out of the gate tonight....

Ponder is the most frustrating to watch QB in the nation (even more than Jacory Harris) :crying:

Not so fast my friend.I think FSU will grind down NC State and win in a close 31-28:hatsoff:

This is the week for Sparty.........if they survive Iowa City Maildude could be on his way to Glendale, Arizona in January :D

OK everyone....since I called the FSU-NC State game correctly last night (ahem!), I'm striking while the iron is hot. Ready for this week's "Pick 25"? We didn't have any submissions for prizes so the only thing I have to offer is a half-eaten bag of Cheetos (the original crunchy ones....not those airy "lite" things) and an unopened set of "Val Pak" offers and coupons that someone left hanging on my doorknob yesterday afternoon (anyone needing any vinyl siding or a good carpet-cleaning will want to win this!). Anybody who wants to throw anything else into the kitty is welcome to do so.

Here’s this week’s slate:

Miami (FL) at Virginia
Oklahoma St. at Kansas St.
Purdue at Illinois
Northwestern at Indiana
Tennessee at South Carolina
Clemson at Boston College
Tulsa at Notre Dame
Louisville at Pittsburgh
Florida vs. Georgia (at Jacksonville)
Missouri at Nebraska
Michigan St. at Iowa
Arizona at UCLA
Texas Tech at Texas A & M
California at Oregon St.
Auburn at Mississippi
Baylor at Texas
Stanford at Washington
Kentucky at Mississippi St.
Utah at Air Force
Oregon at USC
Ohio St. at Minnesota
Michigan at Penn St.
Colorado at Oklahoma
Utah St. at Nevada
TCU at UNLV

And here are my picks:

Miami (FL) at Virginia (A must win for the 'Canes and they get it done on the road against Cavs)
Oklahoma St. at Kansas St. (With Blackmon supsended, K-State pulls off the win in Manhattan)
Purdue at Illinois (The Illini are underrated. They'll go to a bowl this year. Champaign for everyone!)
Northwestern at Indiana ('Cats have hangover after tough loss to MSU)
Tennessee at South Carolina (Vols can't lick those 'Cocks!)
Clemson at Boston College (BC is terrible this year)
Tulsa at Notre Dame (Even a blind squirrel can find an acorn once in a while. Domers win at home)
Louisville at Pittsburgh (Panthers win at home to lead a really weak division in a lousy conference)
Florida vs. Georgia (at Jacksonville) (Timmeh!! Where are you Timmeh??!! :1orglaugh)
Missouri at Nebraska ('Huskers put an end to Mizzou's run in Lincoln. Hope I'm wrong, fear I'm not :crying:)
Michigan St. at Iowa (Sparty's magic finally runs out in Iowa City :helpme:)
Arizona at UCLA (Neuheisel had better dust off his resume. 'Cats take out the Westwooders at the Rose Bowl)
Texas Tech at Texas A & M (Tech fans want the Pirate back. Aggies edge the Raiders in College Station)
California at Oregon St. (Schizophrenic Bears are awful on the road. Beavers win in Corvallis)
Auburn at Mississippi (Tigers roll on against Rebs in Oxford but the game will be closer than expected)
Baylor at Texas (No way do 'Horns lose 3 straight in Austin...do they?? :dunno::confused::eek:)
Stanford at Washington (Huskies take out the Cardinal in a close one in Seattle )
Kentucky at Mississippi St. ('Dogs howl in Starkville)
Utah at Air Force (Utah is just too good for the Falcons but this will be closer than you might expect)
Oregon at USC (In spite of Quack Attack, this is USC's bowl game right here. Trojans steal one at the Coliseum. Don't miss this potential classic Saturday night on ABC (even though Brent Musburger still sucks)! :surprise:)
Ohio St. at Minnesota (LOL! Poor Gophers :anonymous)
Michigan at Penn St. (Wolverines ruin JoPa's day in Unhappy Valley.)
Colorado at Oklahoma (Sooners strike back with a vengeance against Buffs in Norman)
Utah St. at Nevada (The rout is on as Wolfpack triumph at home in Reno)
TCU at UNLV (The only word for this is UGH-ly!!!)

Good luck and enjoy football Saturday as always!

Here we go, Jagger. This is my week.

Miami (FL) at Virginia (You're right, it is do or be totally irrelevant)
Oklahoma St. at Kansas St. (Kansas St. doesn't have what it needs to beat Oklahoma St.)
Purdue at Illinois (I don't know if Illinois is underrated, but Purdue blows donkey balls partially due to injuries)
Northwestern at Indiana (I think this will be close, though)
Tennessee at South Carolina (Hahaha. Can't lick the cocks. good one)
Clemson at Boston College (Won't even be close, I think)
Tulsa at Notre Dame (N.D. has something to prove this week because of the student that was killed on campus while filming a football practice. They've dedicated the game to him, and they aren't going to lose it at home to Tulsa.)
Louisville at Pittsburgh (Should be as expected, no surprises here)
Florida vs. Georgia (at Jacksonville) (Florida's woes will continue)
Missouri at Nebraska (I'm going to go ahead and have to disagree with you there, Normy.)
Michigan St. at Iowa (Mich St. will survive this, and then end up in the BCS championship game.)
Arizona at UCLA (Fairly easy game for Arizona)
Texas Tech at Texas A & M (I'll agree with you here)
California at Oregon St. (Blow out.)
Auburn at Mississippi (Last week convinced me of Auburn's abilities.)
Baylor at Texas (I hope I'm wrong about this though, because it would be great to see Texas lose three straight. :) )
Stanford at Washington (This will be a shooting match.)
Kentucky at Mississippi St.
Utah at Air Force (Close game, but Utah will put the ball in the air and win)
Oregon at USC (USC won't get this one, and this may cement Oregon's title hopes.)
Ohio St. at Minnesota (Another meaningless game)
Michigan at Penn St.
Colorado at Oklahoma (Yeah, they're gonna bang on them)
Utah St. at Nevada
TCU at UNLV (TCU is going to beat the shit out of them.)

FOOOOOTBAAAAAAAAALLLLL! :yesyes:

They'll need help IMO. If Auburn and Missouri go undefeated ...they'll be there and that's not even counting the Ducks. The first 2 very big "IFs" though.

I don't see Boise St. going undefeated being enough to get them there over the others in the above.

FUCK! Can you believe this season is almost over already???????
