I missed the pick 25 for the week but that is okay.FSU let me down but it has been a great day for football and Oregon-USC is everything I hoped for. What the hell happened to Michigan State.:dunno:

It was a mismatch  The Ducks are much more physical than my Trojans. They beat us into submission on our field :weeping:

Whenever we scored, the Ducks looked relaxed, composed and just punched us in the mouth.

We don't have the defensive game plan to stop them. We sure as shit don't have the Linebackers this year. Oh, my kingdom for Maualuga, Cushing, Clay Matthews :weeping: We're going to have to move to a 3 - 4 defense because it's the only defense that can slow down that goddamn spread option. We may have to get rid of Monte and go out and find someone who's a master of it.

As for the Ducks, I think they have the QB play this year to go all the way. Their QB didn't throw the ball wildly or make some major mistakes. He hardly even ran it on us. They pretty much got whatever they wanted in the air tonight. I think the only defense that has a chance to stop Oregon is Ohio State. Auburn's defense is a joke. Bama's might be good...might be mediocre...:dunno: Boise has beaten Oregon twice, but even I don't know if they can stop them for 60 minutes. I haven't seen enough of TCU's defense.

Invest in some champagne Bodie. I think you will be popping the cork this January :o

Jesus...Virginia had a balanced attack. 8 FDs rushing and 8 FDs passing. 185 rushing and 179 passing yards.

the cream is slowly coming to the top...sec should be on each end of the top 5 now.....:wiggle::wave2:

I've never been a Notre Dame fan, but I just feel sorry for them right now...

How about that kid from Nebraska rushing for 308?

Well, none of y'all hit the disaster trifecta like I did today.....

Miami....Geezus....I don't care if Harris got hurt or not, how do you let a shit team like Virginia beat you like that? It's like we woke up in the fourth quarter and said "oh shit....we're gonna lose if we don't start playing!". Randy Shannon is a great recruiter but he is a lousy game-day coach. Incredibly, the Coastal division of the ACC is so bad that we still have a chance to win it....but not much of one. Who cares anyway? It means nothing. I hate to say it but Shannon needs to go. Looks to me like these guys aren't responding to him anymore.

Missouri....not all that disappointed since I called this one but to take a "Helu"-va beating like that was hard to watch. It's OK....we still have a shot at the North title and, actually, we outplayed Nebraska if you take away that horrific first quarter (man, the 'Huskers came out and just steamrolled us!). Nobody picked the Tigers to do shit this year and to be 7-1 at this stage of the game is a great accomplishment. Pinkel is a great coach and I see nothing but good things in their future. We'll bounce back.

OK....Texas ....My God where do I start? Changes need to be made here. This is not an aberration. Greg Davis has got to go....this is the most unimaginative offense I have ever seen. How can we have one of the top recruiting classes year after year and end up with this? Kudos to Briles and the Bears but no way should we lose to them. Time to face facts....Texas just isn't very good at all. We'll see what happens next year. I don't particularly care what happens the rest of this season....it's already a lost season for a program that is used to being at the top of the list. Wake up call, Mack. Get the message. DeLoss Dodds (the AD), the alumni and the board of regents won't put up with this again next year I promise.

I went 16-9 in the picks so I'm sure someone kicked my ass there as well. LOL :1orglaugh

That said....the Ducks are unquestionably the best team in the nation from my perspective. They are unstoppable. Most likely scenario now is either an Oregon-Boise State matchup in the BSC title game or, possibly, Oregon versus whoever wins Auburn/Alabama and then, subsequently, the SEC title.

Quack Attack!! :glugglug:

Well all I can say about that is Ohio State better bring it it seems that that loss Iowa took from wisconsin woke them up in a major way.

Thw way it is going it should be.This is the first time in years I'm looking foward to the Alabama-Auburn game and Mississippi State at 7-2 we are going to party like it is 1999

I know how you feel with FSU taking a loss on Thursday night it seem like NC State is the cream of the crop in the ACC I mean really WTF.I'm hurt as well a watered down ACC.

That is just some good ole footbll pride coming out of Mizzou.I think the Huskers will win the North. But hey they better be careful.

We all know it happen to the best o us and Jagger I'm with you on this.I don't blame those kids at all it is hard to do anything went you put in an offense tht is built for a 6 year old little league team I'm sorry. I'm looking at 6-6 at best

With that video game offense and that hit you in the mouth defense.all they have to do is win out. This is the point in the season where one more major loss from a so-called power house team could put Boise or TCU at number two.

Oregon is sic. Too sic. Who can beat them?

Nobody

20 and 5 on the picks for me.

 to Jagger's disaster trifecta. I know that feeling only too well :D

Titsrock I thought you guys played reasonably well - still some major holes in that defense, though.....mostly at LB like you said. IMO you're a much better team now than you were your first 4 games.
Why did Bradford only get 3 carries  ...while Tyler and Havili had a combined 27?
Barkley is very good...shit I'm sure Neuheisel would give his left testicle to have him...but still a bit erratic.
Woods and Johnson are both great athletes

The fickle finger of fate, my friend.

Just like Michigan State, the Ducks will find a way to implode.

I've been a Duck fan since the Dan Fouts/Bobby Moore (Ahmad Rashad) era, and if history is any indication a key injury or a freakish loss is all but certain to materialize.

I hope and pray to the football Gods that I am wrong
