Is somewhere outhere.
Exactly how has Mowbray lasted even this long?

Because the Celtic faithful thought they had found their Messiah and
were determened to prove everybody right.Despite the Pie being a
useless tit.Well I hope they keep those two fannies they have now
got,for next season :thefinger

Active Offside, Passive Offside.
We were once again stolen a Goal!
Dortmund is lucky to have taken a Point.

It's good to be the king...
Bayern Munich score twice late on to beat Manchester United 2-1 in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final

Now the wailing and nail-biting starts as our press speculates on the implications following Wayne Rooney's injury....

Bayern deserved that win. And without Schweinsteiger and Robben (who btw is way underrated, he was Real Madrid's best player last season......how's Kaka doing anyway?).

And looks as if Alou Diarra's suspension really hurt Bordeaux, 3 goals allowed.

I was wrong about Chamakh. I WANT HIM IN A GOOOOONS JERSEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He is a freaking stud.

If Arsenal do not have Fabregas, we don't have a chance to win. A tie will be the result. We can beat Barca with Fabregas.

I'm happy (phew) that we'll have Gallas in defense rather than serviceable Sol...:o

I see a 1-1 result at the Emirates if Fabregas can't play.

If Cesc Fabulous plays 3-2 to the Arsenal!!! :nanner:

Maybe Bendtner will deliver for the doubters today ;)

Nope, just a fan. But I've been to the city :D
I was there when the stadium's name was Westfalenstadion :)
Unfortunately I have never been to a game

The Goons did well to get a 2-2 draw.

They did very well, Barcelona should have stuffed them in the first half. Ibrahimovich played well considering he normally chokes in big games, I still think Barcelona will go through, i can't see Arsenal winning or scoring 2 or more at the nou camp.

I can't disagree with that. :glugglug:

The Ref was clearly wearing a Barca shirt...although in poetic justice that was a legit penalty; I think we lost Cesc for the season though.

Giving Cesc a yellow on his first challenge, at home, knowing he was on a Yellow was a bullshit call. All of the Arsenal yellows were bullshit. The yellow card probably said Barca across the top

I am disappointed that Gallas actually looked lost out there. I hope he didn't quit out there on the team. He's a hothead and who knows...he's sat down on the pitch before when things didn't go his way :(

I'm very disappointed with Arshavin. It looked like he wanted to to play for Barca and was bitter that they never signed him. Maybe he injured himself at that strange tackle. When has he tried to slide tackle all season? Like never...:dunno: And even HE picked up a Yellow his first tackle

Walcott and Nasri were the heroes for the Goons. I still think we can get a result and come away with the win. Bendtner, if he starts, has to win the game for the Goons. He didn't not rise up to the challenge today

I think it's sad that the American soccer fan has to put up with the sadsacks that the Fox Soccer Channel has hired to represent the game. Warren Barton and Bobby MacMahon (an even bigger asshat) have zero objectivity and really should've put on a couple of Barca shirts for the telecast.

This is where America has you beat. When we hire an ex-athlete to analyze a game, they are always objective and normally extra harsh on their own teams to avoid any whiff of "conflict of interest." It seems that Warren Barton is an unapologetic Goon hater, Newcastle lover and has converted his allegiance away from Newcastle to Man United.

Anyone who has actually played the game of football, especially as a defender, isn't that the alleged position that Warren Barton played?, knows that there are days when you are an underdog, the opponent is the overwhelming favorite but you still pull out a result either by luck or by the underdog playing the game of the year against overwhelming odds. Even though Barca played the Goons off the pitch up until Walcott was brought on, it should not be that surprising that the game was 0-0. Almunia actually showed up for a big game, Song was stopping Messi somewhat...sometimes the ball just doesn't go in for the overwhelming favorite.

Arsenal have to find 11 guys on their squad who actually believe they have a chance to win at the Nou Camp. I think there are too many entrenched pundits in London and even in America apparently, who have come out against Arsenal and now don't want to be proven wrong :dunno:

The Goons started to play Arsenal ball later on with Walcott, but absolutely no question that Barca are the strongest team I've seen this season. No question about it.

The Goons only need a 1-0 result to go through.....

titsrock, youre right about Warren Barton and many of FSC's personalities annoy me, but I like McMahon. Also, great observation about American analysts. Btw you know who's fuckin awesome? Ray Hudson on GolTV. Funny as hell and very intelligent, knows every La Liga team head to toe, not just Real and Barca.

As for the game, that pen was moderate bullshit. The red was major bullshit. And personally, I dont see how some of you can judge this as a good Arsenal performance. They got their asses handed to them everywhere but the scoreboard. How they managed a draw is besides me. And bottomline, we got 2 away goals. Yall better shut us out cuz we dont allow many goals at all, Arsenal were lucky to get those 2. As a Barca fan, this was our best performance in a while. Very unlucky to not win. I was actually disappointed with Arsenal 's performance , I thought they'da had a chance to break 40% possession and get a few more chances. They def have a chance, but they cannot allow us to score.

The season's football, particularly the champion's league, has be amazing and very difficult to call, so I give up trying. However, if that American titsrock is proved to be correct on the barca match I'll never bet against him again. :2 cents:

Ok but without Gallas, how can Arsenal can take no goals from Barcelona at Camp Nou ?
This season, Barcelona had ALWAYS scored at least one goal on every single game they play at Camp Nou.

Last round, Barcelona was against Wolfsburgh. They did 2-2 at Wolfsburg. Everyone was telling that they were indanger, that Wolfsburg could qualify.

Barcelona 4 - 0 Wolfsburg

Even without Fabregas, Arshavin, Walcott, Van Persie etc. etc. ARSENAL ARE NOT WOLFSBURG. They have too much quality to take a beating in Spain.
I think its going to be a classic and its going to be close.

Don't dismiss Arsenal, just saying.

They also aren't Stuttgart, you know, they team we actually played last round :p

Personally, I only see Arsenal going through with the 1-0 result. They WILL NOT score more than 1 goal. And we do have a history of playing coy in the first leg away and then going ballistic in the second leg home.
