Three lullabies in an ancient tongue
^
I was listening to Phil Steele on the radio yesterday and he said he could envision a scenario where, should Texas, Iowa and Cincinnati end up losing one game and the SEC championship was between Alabama and Florida (quite likely I'd say), that the loser of the SEC championship game would likely get the nod in the BCS to play for the national championship against the SEC champion. He didn't seem to think Boise State (or TCU for that matter) had any chance and would likely get "Utahed" and end up playing in a secondary BCS bowl if they go undefeated. Likewise, he didn't think that any other 1-loss team from any other conference would be likely to get the BCS advantage over the SEC loser (so it's already all over for OSU, VaTech, USC and Miami).
If Texas does not win out, I will be rooting like hell for Iowa and Cincinnati to go undefeated.
