As much as I love Gerhart...he was nowhere near "robbed". He did well to finish 2nd for playing on a 4 loss team.
Like I said, Ingram is the most valuable player on what is the best team now....
Like it or not...that's just how it's gonna go down when it comes to the Heisman...
The Heisman will NEVER be about per se stats or competition you face...it's about the play and plays of a player which impact intangible circumstances during the season.
Heisman trophy winners are akin to Justice Potter Stewart's explaining of pornography....you can't describe them, you just know them when you see them.
Gerhart was well represent for his efforts....to be not on the radar when the season started to finishing no. 2 I would say the voters acquitted him quite well.
