Well, he's their starting DE and is considered a 1st-round draft prospect so it sure doesn't help. Anytime you lose a starter, especially in a key game like this one, it's a big deal. We'll see.
That's a major blow to the Florida defense! Anytime you lose a guy who's a game changer in a close match-up, it's gonna affect how you play. And don't give me that crap that "it shouldn't mater because Florida is loaded".... bullshit. Florida doesn't have six Carlos Dunlaps in waiting.
I hate to sound like a total OU homer(but I am), but Oklahoma didn't have DeMarco Murray in the championship game. "Well it shouldn't matter because they had two 1,000 yard rushers". Losing him meant we lost an added dimension to our offense. OU lost a close game and struggled in the red-zone. What if? We also lost our best LB in the RRR that year too. Just sayn'.
