USC is still #12 in the AP poll??
I wonder how some of the voters rationalize that?
"Well, it was Halloween night, so strange things are bound to happen."
"Well, daylight savings time was about to end, and I felt that really worked against the Trojans."
"Well, I forgot to set my clock back and missed the replay of the game. Who won?"

:wtf:

Review my previous post about how the media sucks Pete Carroll's dick...:blowjob:

Yeah. I'm not seeing a lot of Trojan apologists right now.:dunno:
There's nothing to appologize for. We got smoked. Case closed. :dunno: I did think USC COULD argue for a spot in the NC game in arguing that the UDub loss didn't count for much since we didn't have Barkley and only had 1 week to get the backup ready. But that argument is moot now.

Relax...people. What's it matter if we're in the rankings another week? We'll soon be down around the 20s soon enough. I think we're going to lose 1 more in conference.

What a douchebag. Will the SEC office step up and suspend him?
Doubtful. The SEC doesn't look at this as cheap, dirty play. They view it as "tough SEC football son!" Or "This is what separates SEC MEN from every other conference's boys"...

Where is Iowa? The Hawkeyes are 8-0 and you don't have them in the Top 10 but you have a 5-3 Oklahoma team? Iowa manhandled Penn St in Happy Valley!

excuse me, you are entirely right. let me revise because you are wise.

1. Alabama
2. Texas
3. Florida
4. TCU
5. Oregon
6. Cincinnati
7. Iowa
8. Boise St.
9. LSU
10. Penn St

I hope by the end of the season there is still five or six undefeated teams left that are worthy of going for the national championship just to shame the BCS and make it so it's just that little bit closer to moving to a playoff no matter how many people in the positions of power at the universities try to fight it.

I hope not... that kind of behavior should not be tolerated in college football, especially when it was so blatant and could have really hurt a kid permanently.

yeah, the blatant disregard for the guy's vision/health is really troublesome. This player should get his ass handed to him with fines/penalties.

No, no, you were right the first time.

Your first instinct is always the correct one.

College players don't get paid. There's no pot of money to extract a fine from. The SEC could punt this to the NCAA and maybe they could suspend this player for the rest of the season. But this particular player is the best LB in the nation and a top 10 pick in the draft. There is no way Coach Urban Meyer will administer real punishment. He might make him run laps after practice this week:dunno:

Unless they totally thrash LSU nothing bama does in the next four weeks can move them up in my poll. They'll only move up if teams ahead of them lose.

bama is a 8.5 over lsu saturday.......as weak as bama is no offence...cant score.......get-che-sum.........and scratch a broke ass monday......bama 34 lsu 6

On the weekends I have to work something like this happens and I miss it so I have to wait though the week to see the game so I can comment on it.I heard Tennenness played in their black jeserys and USC allowing 391 rush yards they only give up 79 on the ground:eek:One hell of a weekend :hatsoff:

My top 10 teams:

1. Texas(you need to jump on the Texas bandwagon Jagger69)
2. Florida
3. Alabama
4. TCU
5. Boise St.
6. Cincinnati
7. Oregon
8. LSU
9. Ohio St.
10. Penn St.

Why? Texas hasn't done anything to warrant #1. Florida handled Georgia quite easily and Alabama shouldn't be penalized simply because they had a bye week. Besides, Texas at #3 is fine with me....if we stay there all year, we play for the national championship and that's what really matters. I actually like the fact that so many are considering the 'Horns to be overrated. Kind of reminds me of 2006 when USC was so dominant and the media was all gushy over Leinart and Reggie Bush and Pete Carroll and how the Trojans were just so strong and in"vince"able....until Texas whipped them in the Rose Bowl. Nope, Will, we're just fine sitting back here at #3 (that's my poll we're talking about). :D

ESPN appears to be stirring the pot again. In their "Insider" section they have a "Story" --probably some intern hack piece--about Michigan dumping Rich Rodriguez and handing Jim Harbaugh a blank check.

What say the Meeechiganers around here? Are you really ready to give up on Rich Rod not even after year 2?

Harbaugh certainly doesn't run the Spread offense (buh-bye Forcier and the rest of the new recruits) and other than a shock win over my Trojans 2 years ago...what's he really done at stanfurf?
