To me as far as odd and beting against the spread and somethings like that you can't go wrong with there top ten other than that hell no matter of fact enough with the polls they don't mean crap the polls are for us the fans but that is enough of that LSU-Alabama I'm ready for a fight:fight:LSU by 2 30-28 and Ohio State-Penn. State 38-35 Penn.State in overtime Trust me I'm a doctor:thumbsup:

No doubt. I still believe USC could beat anybody in any bowl game, but sadly they don't belong in any top tens. Unless it's top 10 disappointing teams. Then they'd be 2nd after Oklahoma.

the lurking prediction, because I'm a sucker for punishment.

1. Indiana will beat Wisconsin by two score.
2. Michigan will trounce Purdue
3. Notre Dame will squeak by against Navy. Last minute decision
4. Penn St. will soundly beat Ohio St. At least two score.
5. Alabama will lose to LSU (sorry) and will be ranked 8th next week
6. California will lose to Oregon St.
7. USC may lose again this week.

Okay, discuss, mock, and be general wankers.

I don't know about that. It seems they have schools in the top ten based on reputation only. Oklahoma, USC, Penn St, and OSU do not deserve to be in the top 10. In any poll.

True, but I just find it stupid that Iowa could possibly get in the National Title game. They scheduled a bunch nobodies and they're going to be rewarded because it.

At least Boise State had the balls to schedule Oregon.

It's funny you bring that up because right now, it's USC vs Oklahoma in the Holiday Bowl. Bring it on! :thefinger

How about that :1orglaugh well Iowa will need some help because of the Big ten tie in with the Rose Bowl but you guys know how that goes and correct me if I'm wrong.Flordia,Texas, and Alabama has to lose Iowa has to win the Big Ten outright and a at large team goes to the Rose Bowl.Right:dunno:

The Rose Bowl is hosting a "Rose Bowl" and then they're hosting the BCS NC game a week later, right?, because the Rose Bowl venue gets the NC game this year....

The only way we avoid a Pac10/Big11 matchup in the Rose Bowl is if Iowa goes undefeated and gets selected into the NC game against Florida/Bama winner (if both are undefeated in that game) providing Texas loses. I don't see Texas losing at all this season but it is interesting to see if the Rose COULD get an Oregon/Boise State grudge match repeat...:thefinger: if Iowa goes to the NC game...

I think SC is going to kick the shit out of Stanfurf, ASU and ookla...the other games are going to be rolls of the dice I think....

Ahhhh.....The voice of reason I see a rematch in the makings as well and Boise still will stump a mudhole in them and walk it dry:crash:

Why would they schedule a rematch? That would be totally unfair to Boise State.... they already beat the shit out of them.

Why not a team like TCU? That would be a better match-up IMO.

If nobody wants a Florida/Bama rematch in the NC, than there shouldn't be an Oregon/Boise St rematch. Boise already opened a can on them anyway.

Because TCU and Boise played last year in the "I can't remember what it's name" Bowl and TCU beat BSU 17-16.

((Shh...but I have TCU taking a loss in the next 2 weeks))

I think in this tough economic climate, assuming that Iowa goes undefeated and Fla/Tex/Bama lose somewhere...and Boise goes undefeated....and Oregon runs the table...this is a shitload of assumptions....but the BCS bowl games are going to want to put matchups where fans have a chance to travel to and support their teams...Boise really would only go to the Fiesta or Rose. Fiesta would probably grab them.:dunno:

But who wouldn't want to see LaGarrette Blount v Byron Hout Rd II :thefinger

That would be a great matchup. I'd have to pick OU strictly because their defense is MUCH stronger than USC's. It'd be fun to watch though!
