If it's a movie I really like, sure. I'll sit thru a commentary or two to find out more about it. Sometimes the info given can be interesting, and depending on who's giving the commentary, entertaining as well. One of my favourites is definately Paul Thomas Anderson's commentary for Boogie Nights.
