NFL '11 Season Thread

Then again...saying a quarterback is good because he might only have 12-15 players better than him in the league is sort of damning with faint praise.

As a person who has had this service for years, let me tell that it is well worth it. I don't live in my teams market, so to see them every Sunday, and have the opportunity to watch and root against our rivals is beyond awesome! I love it.

I get pretty lucky here in KC, they show a good amount of Packers games on FOX because I'm sort of in the market and plus they usually show 3-4 National televised games a year on ESPN or NBC so I get to see the majority of the Packers games! I don't need Sunday Ticket!

The NFL Sunday Ticket is a joke. A dozen games on at the same time? Yeah, that makes sense. Unless you are a bookie then it's retarded. Had it when I was still with the folks for close to 10 years. A total waste only good for the Schwab and his ilk.

As in...Stump the Schwab?

$340 for NFL sunday ticket is nuts...i'll stick to ESPN/Fox fuck that!

Same here. I just need to watch my Bears play and thats it, I don't really care for any other team's games. I get enough games on Fox, CBS, and ESPN.

Of course it's ridiculously expensive, but I am assuming all of you saying this live in your teams market. If you're a transplant fan such as myself, you have no other choice. Without Sunday Ticket, I'd only get to see the Raiders maybe 2 or 3 times a season, and that's only cuz San Diego and Denver get fairly good coverage on CBS out here.

Saint's defence SUCKED last night vs. the Texans. I know the have a good offence but WTF.

That's true. The only reason I'd get Sunday Ticket is if I didn't live in my team's market or if I was in a fantasy league.
