X-Men Origins: Wolverine

eh, all these X cameos are lame. that's a sign of a sagging plot.

Just read that "Cyclops" has a cameo in the film. Said he was a young blindfolded child that Wolverine rescues from Stryker's prison.

Does that even have anything to do with Cyclops's real comic origin? If not, then what's the fucking point?

I think Fox is trying to stay clear of the whole thing with an alien spaceship and he hits his head and can't control his powers and such.

Kinda like how they made the "Phoenix" Jean Grey's dark side, instead of a cosmic entity.

Still, if they wanted to stay clear of that it would have just been better to never even mention how he comes to be an X-man in the first place than to just drop somebody in for the hell of it. :2 cents:

I heard they're considering other "origins" movies, so it may be a setup for later.

Yeah, one was supposed to be X-Men Origins: Magneto. It was supposed to be how Magneto and Xavier first met up.

As far as I know besides X-Men Origins: Wolverine FOX has two or three other X-Men related movies that are in the works or have been announced. X-Men Origins: Magneto is a definite. I remember hearing something about Storm at one point and just recently FOX has a writer working on an O.C. version of the X-Men where it would just involve the teenagers at the school. I hope that one gets scrapped.

Hopefully this movie delivers. Im not entirely convinced with the casting of sabretooth, deadpool and Gambit, but we'll see.

Has anyone noticed Wolverine soften up in every movie since x1?? Hopefully in origins they portray him as the badass hes supposed to be and not the pansy slut he was in x3

Well, to be honest, a buddy and I were just talking about this the other day at work: the first 3 X-Men movies were basically "The Wolverine Variety Hour featuring those other guys"

Don't get me wrong Wolverine's badass and one of my favorite characters, but he got too much screentime in X-Men 1, 2, and 3 while some like Cyclops were completely made out to look pathetic in comparison. That being said, I have high hopes for the movie, I just hope that Gambit and Deadpool are done with justice.

Damn, I am so looking forward to Liev Schreiber's portrayal of Sabretooth. His laugh after the "I'm gonna cut your head off, see if that works." line is awesome.

My Favorite part of the trailer! That is so Sabertooth!!!

Sabertooth is gonna rock! I think he needed more screen time and a longer fight sequence with Wolverine in the first movie.
