Cant say I disagree. It is indeed perfect casting. But now that Reynolds is Deadpool, my support for him playing Wally West/The Flash has lessened somewhat. But on the flipside, thats WB/DC .... who the hell knows if ... or even WHEN a Flash movie would get made!

you know, hugh jackman is actually a pretty good actor. I thought that he was great as wolverine, and I have some doubts about this movie purely on the grounds of it being a sequel/prequel, but if anyone could pull it off, it would be him. It could work. I'd like to see it be more gritty and less sci-fi though, keep the premise of mutation, but downplay the campiness. If it was more like say the bourne identity than spiderman.

I can't wait to see this movie, specially Gambit don't know whats so special about Deadpool he looks like Spiderman with guns, there i said it. Don't know if it fits in the storyline but why not add Omega Red or Apocalypse i really want so see some bad ass dude for some happy three friends action.

While Spider-Man makes jokes because that's his way of "Dealing with it all," Deadpool will tell you where to go, what to do when you get there, then he'll come over, do it to you in ways it would really hurt, then kill you, and won't shut up about it the entire time.

I agree. I know Reynolds gets some shit, but he, and his relationship w/ Parker Posey were the best things about that film. He was also one of the best things about the Amtyville remake. He has the right tools to play Deadpool. Deadpool is a an all around funny guy. And, a fav of mine.

I been a geek pretty much all my life!I'm just wondering how far they'll go into the whole "Weapon X" program. Too bad this is a Fox movie and not a "Marvel Films" movie. I think they could have done some cool stuff with Captain America being "Weapon I" and his upcoming movie.
That's exactly what I was thinking,and I think the reason is that they don't want Wolverine to get the shit kicked out of him on a regular basis,because Omega Red would,and he has if I recall correctly,beat the living shit out of Wolverine in the comics.I forgot exactly what issue it was,but I read it back in high school.
I do find it funny,however,that they are saying that the only place you can see the trailer is when you go see The Day The Earth Stood Still.That movie must be total trash if that's the only thing that they think can entice people to go see it.
DeadPool actually has a new series out in the comic book stores I think were on like #5 or #6 it ties into Secret Invasion. But it is a good read check it out!

That trailer is actually better than one of the other trailers that's on Youtube,because all of the idiots in the audience are cheering like fucking morons.
I have to admit,it does look pretty good though.But we know that a good looking trailer does not make a good movie,so I'll take a wait and see attitude with this one.

I know that Jackman is great as Wolverine. I know that the new Punisher, Punisher2 without Thomas Jane will be a total failure. Liev Schrieber was good as Sabretooth.
