The new WWE Wellness program seems to have played a factor in this move. Some wrestlers are going to get smaller as they cycle off of whatever they were using in the next few weeks and months. However, WWE still wants to have big, monster-like wrestlers on their roster, which is why wrestlers like Test and Henry Godwin may be brought back. Also, WWE are contacting several other name wrestlers from the past for tryouts, so stay tuned in the next few weeks to see who WWE might bring back for a return.

That would seem to only be delaying the inevitable unless they are going to fire people just so they can go back to using steroids and then hire them when they are bigger again. :dunno:

Winner: Shane McMahon via Submission (HBK didn't tap)
You left out details. Once Shane had Shawn in the Sharpshooter, Vince had the timekeeper RING THE BELL, then made Lillian announce Shane as the winner. Eerily (and intentionally) reminiscient of the "Montreal Screw Job".

Tajiri has agreed to appear at this year’s ECW One Night Stand PPV.

Helms recently signed a multi-year contract extension with WWE.

Apparently Vince has given the order for a series of WWE novels. The first one, scheduled for a summer 2006 release, features Vince himself in a James Bond-like role where he and several wrestlers go undercover to bust a drug operation.

Hope this is true

"Nora Greenwald aka Molly Holly has signed a deal with WWE to become a behind the scenes trainer for Ohio Valley Wrestling. After departing WWE back in March of last year, Nora has been offered several deals which she had all previously declined.

Nora was contacted by Vince as he would like her to raise the wrestling technique of Angel Williams, Beth Pheonix and Shelly Martinez."

Charlie Haas Speaks On Returning To WWE, TNA & More

This week P2PLive.net welcomed soon to be returning WWE superstar Charlie Haas. Charlie joined us from Booker T’s wrestling school in Texas where he was helping train some students. Charlie said he is getting in shape for his WWE return as well as taking part in the ECWA Super 8 tournament.

When asked how he got into the tournament. Charlie said he agreed to be in it a few years ago but he blew his knee out. When he was released by WWE a while back he said it would be his honor to be in the tournament. He said even though he has re-signed with WWE he wants to fulfill all his indy obligations, including the Super 8.

When asked when Charlie will be returning to WWE he stated that there is no set timeline as of yet as all creative ideas are going towards WrestleMania. Haas has no problem waiting wherever they ask him. He said whether its OVW, Deep South or Booker T’s wrestling school he is fine with it and awaits his TV return.

When asked if he would have signed with TNA Haas said that there was no room on the roster as TNA wanted to stay loyal to the guys that have been with them in the past. Haas said that once there was room on the roster WWE had already contacted him and he did what he felt was best for himself and his family. He also wants to finish the job he felt went undone in WWE.

When asked about going on different promotions from his wife Jackie, Charlie noted that wrestling is a business and that he and his wife are two separate talents. Although it would have been nice to work with Jackie again he respects that it was a business decision he had to make. He said that he is proud of Jackie over at TNA and that she is gaining good experience and TV time.

Charlie noted that he only has a few indy commitments remaining. Those are for Jersey All Pro Wrestling and the Super 8 tourney.

When asked about tagging with Shelton Benjamin Charlie said that although they were a great team, the main stars were hurt at the time so they had to be split in the draft. Upon return Haas hopes to be in singles action, however will do whatever he is asked.

In the Super 8 tournament Haas looks forward to working with all the guys.

In regards to wrestling Harry Smith, Haas said it was a great time and he enjoyed working with TNA guys the night before, however when he wrestled Smith the ring actually collapsed so that was quite a dangerous match to be apart of.

Haas talked about growing up in Oklahoma. He talked about his childhood wrestling influences. He talked about getting scholarships in amateur wrestling and translating that into his pro career. When asked about working with Hardcore Holly, Charlie said it was a great learning experience.

Haas talked about teaming with his late brother Russ and how much he loved that. He talks about Russ being his inspiration. Russ passed away while they were both in WWE developmental.

The storyline of Charlie cheating on Jackie with Dawn was brought up. He talked about it being like acting. It comes with the territory and he had no problems doing it.

When asked about his “Porno moustache” gimmick, Charlie was flattered by some of the chants and had no problem with it. He actually found it funny.

When asked if he enjoyed the time off from WWE Haas said he learned a lot and that he enjoyed traveling. He felt he grew a lot as a singles wrestler.

Haas went back to discussing the Super 8 tournament. He talked about it being a stepping stone for many past competitors. He hopes it can do the same for his singles career.

Haas urged people to check out the Super 8 show at http://www.ecwaprowrestling.com/ the show will be on April 8th in Newark Delaware. He also plugged Booker T’s Wrestling Academy in Houston, Texas. Keep an eye on WWE programming to see Charlie’s debut soon.

John Cena recently posted a blog entry on his MySpace page where he talks a bit about "smart" wrestling fans and the so called wrestling "experts."

WWE Vice President Bob Collins confirmed that WrestleMania 23 will emanate from Detroit, Michigan in an article published by SportsBusinessDaily.com, which puts next year's event at Ford Field, the home of the NFL's Detroit Lions. Next year's Wrestlemania will be April 1, 2007.

It now looks like The Dicks’ release from WWE may have stemmed from more than simply running out of ’dick jokes’.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that before The Dicks were released, Chad was getting ribbed really bad backstage by JBL for a while. He then did something which made Undertaker, JBL, Chris Benoit, and Kid Kash call for a “pre-trial meeting” with him. Chad was so scared that he snuck out of the bathroom and accidentally locked them all in, which made Chad even more nervous. They eventually got out when Orlando Jordan unlocked the door, and laughed it off.

Chad was apparently panicking and crying to James Dick, and was seen by others doing this which made his ribbing even worse right when they were about to leave him alone.

James, being Chad’s partner, was grouped in with him and had Chad’s heat rub off on him. James obviously was not happy about this. Somehow, things lead to them being told to settle it, and were put up against each other. Chad tried to joke his way out of it and threw a worked punch at James, then James punched him twice, legit, which ended the fight.

Chad had a badly busted lip, and James needed stitches in his hand.

From that point on, it was clear to most that they were done with the company.

I know some or most of you don't like John Cena. I at one point didn't either, but he has a ton of personality and charisma. He's obviously not affected by peoples remarks. He was made a wrestler for a reason and thats cause he does have talent, to me a wrestler is a guy who has a ton of moves he can use. He has a simple wresltling tech. but the way he carries himself is what makes him good.

the reason people don't like him is because the WWE is forcing him down the throats of the WWE fans because he has "personality and charisma".... but nothing else.
his wrestling skills are not worthy of a WWE Champion
