Stacy Keibler was on the Ellen Degeneres show earlier this morning. She mentioned that she twisted a bone in her ankle in training. Keibler was meant to do a dance on the show however she said that she was told to stay off her feet as much as possible.

I just watched Stacy on Ellen and here is what she had to say. She was only on there for about 5 minutes. She and her partner, Tony, came out dancing the robot. Ellen asked her since Drew said that she was the only real competition who do they think is competition. She said she thinks Drew is dancing wise, but Jerry Rice is her competition with the fans. Ellen says that she was going to dance for us, but she hurt her ankle. Stacy said she did while she was dancing. Ellen asked if she will dance tonight. Stacy says that she is ok and is good to go tonight. That was it, she was only on there for about 5/6 minutes.

Over at the WWE website features an update on JBL's condition following surgery to repair a broken hand with a displaced bone. JBL suffered the injury earlier this week at the SmackDown tapings competing in a six man tag team match.

There is a video on the website from the surgery, featuring comments from JBL and his doctor. The video can be seen at WWE.com.

In the video, JBL is claiming that Chris Benoit tried to end his career by injuring his hand, hinting that they'll be fighting at WrestleMania. Neither JBL nor Chris Benoit is booked for another match against each other. WrestleMania 22 would be a great place for both participants to go at it against each other. JBL also said, to end a guy's career, you have to do more than go after someone's hand.

The doctor is quoted as saying JBL's hand is injured, however they want to get him back doing what he does ASAP.

Apparently a WWE source said that the surgery seemed to go well, giving an indication that the injury isn't serious enough to keep him out of WrestleMania.

This week on SmackDown during a six-man tag team match, JBL suffered a broken hand with a displaced bone. Surgery on that hand took place Thursday morning. Click here for video footage of the surgery and comments from JBL, as well as his surgeon.

The match pitting JBL, Finlay & Randy Orton against Rey Mysterio, Lashley & Chris Benoit can be seen Friday Night (8/7 CT) on UPN.

In today’s Sydney Morning Herald features a story regarding the Australian movie industry being very slow at the moment. They reported that Steve Austin's new movie is about to start shooting at the Warner Roadshow Studios on the Gold Coast. This is the first of the three movie deals which he signed with WWE.

Tracy Smothers shot on JBL last night at a show in Alcoa, TN. He and fellow stable members first destroyed a JBL action figure and then Tracy challenged JBL to fight him at the ECW PPV.

WWE.com is reporting that current WWE Cruiserweight Champion Gregory Helms has signed a new long-term contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. There is an interview up with Helms at WWE.com. I'd like to send out a congratulations to Helms on the re-signing. I wonder what many of his "critics" will have to say about this move by WWE since they have been very outspoken as of late on the internet and on wrestling radio.

Former WWE World champion Batista was a guest on The Sports Junkies radio show on WJFK FM in Washington, DC yesterday. Their website is junkiesradio.com to promote this Monday's Supershow taping in DC.

Here are few highlights:

He is married and has 3 daughters

His favorite wrestler growing up was the Warlord

His dream match would be a Hell in the Cell match with Undertaker

When asked about becoming an actor in Hollywood, he says at Wrestlemania last year, lots of agents contacted him, but he made it very clear that wrestling is his passion, and he does not want to be an actor.

He also mentioned how difficult Mic Work is for him....doing interviews and talking trash on Smackdown is his least favorite thing about the business because he knows it is not his strength.

While working as a bouncer, he really didn't like to beat people up who got out of hand. When prompted by the hosts about how big he was and how he could easily dish out a beating, he came across as a shy person, who really didn't want to hurt anyone....sort of a gentle giant.

He will be at the Supershow in Wash, DC on Monday night.

I hope TNA kicks WW(e)'s ass eventually. Those suicide video's are pathetic.

TNA will never be able to compete with the WWE.

Another WWE WrestleMania poster has been released, this time featuring Triple H, Chris Benoit and Shawn Michaels. Shawn Michaels is doing a back flip outside the ring about to land on both Triple H and Chris Benoit with a crowned of people in the background. The poster also features the logo for WrestleMania 22 along with the tagline "Big Time". The poster again confirms the start time of the event as 7pm EST time.

WW(e)'s ratings are abysmal..the worst since the mid/late 90's when WCW nearly ran them out of business
their actually doing quite well recently, better then they have for a few years.
the ratings for RAW the night after Edge became WWE Champ were the highest in about 2 years or something.

Former World champion Batista is scheduled to be at the Supershow taping in Washington, DC., this coming Monday. Smackdown! will be taping the show right after RAW as they leave for Australia and New Zealand immediately after for a three day tour Down Under. Batista made a surprise appearance at No Way Out, something which could have been kept for two weeks more as he is from Washington, DC., the site of the next Smackdown! taping. As announced last week, ALL WWE talent, whether they have been used lately or not, has been told to arrive for this Monday's Supershow for a major backstage announcement.

Prior to putting Rey Mysterio back in the WrestleMania 22 main-event, there was speculation that WWE might have Chavo Guerrero turn on Mysterio to set up a match at WrestleMania. That idea never got off the ground, pleasing a number of wrestlers who disapprove of the direction WWE took in using the late Eddie Guerrero's name in storylines.

The use of Eddie Guerrero in storylines has been toned down, although it is not known if any specific dialogue between wrestlers and WWE officials made that happen. It is known that Mysterio, Chavo Guerrero, Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko spoke with a WWE writer about the storyline's direction, but the concern never made its way to management.

In fact, as has been reported, Stephanie McMahon stood behind the angle when writers criticized its taste.

The McMahon defense of the storyline likely prevented more wrestlers—especially those without strong political stroke—from taking an open stand against the angle. Thus, very little heat falls on the wrestlers who were actually involved in the on-air storyline.

God help Stephanie McMahon if she thinks Eddie Guerrero's death is a good storyline....

WWE developmental diva Angel Williams was scheduled to debut on SmackDown as part of the JBL/Jillian Hall storyline, however she was recently injured while training. The plan was to have Jillian Hall return without the mole and be pushed as now being beautiful, and somehow managing someone who is feuding with JBL. Angel would resume Jillian’s previous role as JBL’s assistant.

However, Vince liked Jillian’s performance in the angle where The Boogeyman bit off her mole, and decided to keep her in the role.

They may still go back to the previously planned angle once Angel’s blown out knee heals.

Vince McMahon is expected to address every single member of the RAW and SmackDown! roster today in regards to WWE's new "Wellness Program". Similar talks are planned for the developmental territories as well. WWE has spent the last few weeks hiring independent contractors who will handle the drug testing.

The Wrestling-Observer Newsletter reports that Kurt Angle was not pleased with WWE's decision to make his WM22 title defense a three-way match.

Although Angle has no problem with Mysterio, he was looking forward to a classic one-on-one WrestleMania main-event and feels that the three way match greatly changes the dynamic.
