Unbelievable game by the U.S. To come back after playing with 10 men is just incredible. Epic. Wambach's goal is reminiscent of Landon Donovan's goal against Algeria in the World Cup, both came in stoppage time.
I did have half an eye on the England game yesterday because hubby had it on. They lost on penalties just like their men do.

Definitely watched the entire match today. Apart from the horrendous officiating, it wasn't just one of the best women's games I've ever seen, it was one of the best soccer matches I've seen, period. Great goal by Wombach in stoppage time to force the shootout. And a great save by Hope Solo (my new favorite name in sports) to send the US through.
I'll definitely be tuning in to watch their next game. :thumbsup:
It never should have come to that. Fuckin' refs were trying to fuck us, but we showed them. Now we can get some hardware, one way or another now.

The pass to Wambach for the header was a thing of beauty. The ref in this game was absolutly HORRIBLE. Multiple Screwing of the USA. They overcame it.

Some of those short-haired girls like Rapinoe, Wambach and LePelbeit are kinda hot. The more I've been watching them, the more attractive they've become to me.:dunno:
