Blasphemy! I think he is funnier as he gets older. Not everything he says is funny, but the observational and philosophic value of is non-comedic moments is consistently great. I'm seeing him this saturday. Woohoo for me.
I always thought bill hicks wasn't that funny. And his philosophy is relatively tame compared to carlin. sort of carlin-lite.
Lisa Lampanelli is pretty good
Robert Schimmel is hilarious. Very rarely do i laugh throughout an entire performance.

Good ones. In fact, you can pretty much list all of the hack comedians they have on those Comedy Central celebrity roasts.
I like Dennis Miller, or did before he got REALLY political anyway.
Will Ferrell I just don't get. Never did and probably never will.
Blue Collar... started and ended with Tater Salad. Now it's a stale, played act.
Anyone say Gary Shandling yet? He's pretty mild humor although I remember really liking the show on HBO...
Eddie Murphy was funny to me when I was a kid. Delirious was definitely funnier than Raw, but both aren't too funny to me now. Kind of like Andrew Dice Clay. He was the funniest guy on the planet when I was like 12 or so... now his shtick makes him look like a complete moron.
Robin Williams' stand-up kind of goes that way too. Funny back in the day, but he's kind of done the same shit for decades. I actually think he's better as a serious actor like in Good Will Hunting than as a comedian.

I've never seen such a concentration of tasteless people as in the first page or so that I read of this thread. I'm awestruck at the ignorance and lack of appreciation for some of these amazing comedic minds. It's a pity that people comprehend anything past punchline jokes.
