Stewart Lee does a fantastic bit about American stand-ups in his last series. I do like me some Rich Hall and the two mentioned above, but I can't think of any others.

Dennis Miller use to be funny, now he is a right wing loony tune.
Three words- DANE FUCKING COOK. Not funny at all.

is the worst. I suppose in the latter case you get a diluted dosage of his nonsense. For some bizarre reason that I don't understand, Dane Cook is INSANELY popular among women. I suppose he is good looking for a comedian...but that's a pretty low bar, right?
Off topic: Funny thing about Dennis Miller -- when he had a series I watched him semi-faithfully. He was snarky and had a bit of an ego, but his punches were pretty brutal and witty. After 9/11 he become preachier than late season episodes of Family Guy. I remember he going to a stand-up special of his in 2004 in which he stopped mid-routine to explain why terrorism was bad to the audience. The mood in the audience became uncomfortable pretty quickly, as nobody could tell whether it was part of the routine or not.

I like Katt Williams but I can take the profanity for so long before I change it. Usually within fifteen minutes to thirty minutes I change it. I can only hear the F word and the N word fifty times within five minutes for so long, especially before the punchline comes to fruition.
