Anyone that's studied in the field of neurosciences can prove scientifically that the neurological structure of certain parts of the brain determines one's sexual preference. So, yes, when one is "born" they have a brain that will go "gay" or "straight" or "bi".
Umm, no. People aren't "born" a certain way when it comes to their emotions, desires, beliefs, thoughts, attractions, preferences, etc. People rely on using "being born that way" as a pathetic excuse when something about their personality is questioned.
If people truly were "born" a certain way, then absolutely nobody on the face of the earth would be held accountable for their actions. Serial killers could claim that they were "born" with a pre-determined lust for *******, freeing them of all responsiblity for the ******* they committed. I mean, they were "born that way", so they can't help it, right? But, that excuse would never hold up in court. Why? Because, people aren't "born" a certain way.
If there really was some part of our brain and/or our genetics that pre-determined our sexual attraction (who we would desire in a sexual manner), then ***** molesters and pedophiles should be allowed to have sex with younger ******** because that would be their pre-determined sexual preference. And, who are we to judge? It's not like they can help it, you know? They were "born that way".
But, let me guess...that's totally different than being "born" gay, right?
Fact is being gay or straight is not some "eureka moment" one has at later during their life and suddenly make a conscious "choice" to be gay or straight. Alas, I am flogging a dead ***** on this forum because explaining the neuroscience behind this would require lenghty explanations and most likely those without the intellect to understand such scientific fact would more than likely come out with some asinine, pseudo-scientifical and subjective weak argument due to their ignorance.
If more people went to university to study in the field of neurology and medicine, these types of ignorant questions wouldn't show up as often in forums. Sadly, there are far more illiterate people on the planet than educated ones.
Is it lonely up there on your pedestal?
