What is the latest good film you watched ?

Nightmare On Elm Street (2010).
If you've seen the original, stick to that. If you haven't, watch the original first.
My god the remake was lame and boring. Jackie Earl something was ok but he looks like an alien/crispy old man. I'm sorry but Robert Englund is sorely missed in this one. It's not really a Nightmare film without him. Remake/Re-imagining/rebooting go fuck yourself.
Why post this here? This thread is called What is the latest good film you watched ?

Ban me? Ok. I can read the title of the thread but if you've ever read anything in here you will see that people give their opinions on the films they've watched, good or bad. Should there be a Bad Films thread then?
Grow up.

If you say so Mr.Authority & btw you could have PM'd me instead.

Speaking of Kick-ass....I saw this movie called Defendor, its about this guy who's mildly retarded and also dons a superhero costume. He fights villians by throwing marbles at them and unleashing wasps on them. Along the way, he meets a hooker with a heart of gold and they become friends. Its a nice movie.

Just watched One Flew Over The Coo Coo's Nest for the first time.Didn't think I would like it that much, and even though t he filmmaking is dated,it was a very good movie.

Well tonight I went on over to my folks house with everyone, and we all eat a big dinner and we watched the overly long post-menopausil romantic/comedy "It's Complicated" that one of my older brother's got on Blu-Ray.

But it just, ah, wasn't my bag of home viewing. It was nicely shot, but Ms. Streep need's to start acting in my films I REALLY would actually like to see her in. I mean this and last time "Momma Mia!"? Oh for Christ sakes. So I'm just posting out of boredom the latest film I've seen; I wouldn't really by my own diffinition call it a "good" film, I'm afraid. Sorry to anyont that liked it. It was overly long and formulaic.

First off,I really don't understand why any company would even bother putting a movie like this on Bluray.Do rom-coms really need to be in HD?

Now I've never gushed over Meryl Streep, but if you really wan't to see her in a good movie that come out recently, check out Doubt. She's excellent,as is Philip Seymour Hoffman, but then again, when isn't he.Good movie and definitely worth watching.
