What? I watched this on my PS3 but it was definitely the DVD version. I'm watching my boxset of the first 7 movies, I've had this set for years.

A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge (1985)

Uh, what? I well my bad; guess we've just a had a little misunderstanding. The new Blu-Ray from Warner Bros. is out here and is notoriously cheap in a lot of places, and I just assued like me that you picked it up. Meh, no problem. And I actually just sold me old Elm Street series collection with the reprinted press kit booklet and the two pairs of 3-D glasses that many of us have had for years myself, since I've gone Blu over the last year and a half and it free's up ALOT of shelf space and I'll re-buy only the ones that I want and entertained me. Thankfully all of my single discs and the boxsets I had left went like hotcakes over an overly long four day large garage sale I recently did myself.

But yes, I do like the first two Nightmare on Elm streets. I more of less liked the first more Exploitation-style Friday the 13th installments from Paramount much more, though, as Freddy was really never my favorite character. But alas to each they're own.

Bullitt

Good performance by Steve McQueen, and the car chase sequence is outstanding!

Well tonight I went on over to my folks house with everyone, and we all eat a big dinner and we watched the overly long post-menopausil romantic/comedy "It's Complicated" that one of my older brother's got on Blu-Ray.

But it just, ah, wasn't my bag of home viewing. It was nicely shot, but Ms. Streep need's to start acting in my films I REALLY would actually like to see her in. I mean this and last time "Momma Mia!"? Oh for Christ sakes. So I'm just posting out of boredom the latest film I've seen; I wouldn't really by my own diffinition call it a "good" film, I'm afraid. Sorry to anyont that liked it. It was overly long and formulaic.

Beyond that, I've mostly been letting my favorite YouTube vids download in HD in 720p HD or even higher, since I got a fine HP TouchSmart 300 PC a few months back for my birthday as I was wanting. If anyone here is into Horror, the good ol' boys of www.deadpit.com YouTube page (http://www.youtube.com/user/wesvance) is mostly what I've been watching, as of late. I'll unplug my headphones from the side and I'll let something from they're channel, or the Angry Video Game Nerd's reviews load up, and I'll spruce up the ol' house hold around the ramblings of things like retro pro-wrestling and the like.

Saw "Leaving Las Vegas" for the first time yesterday night. It's just brilliant, Nicolas Cage's acting is simply perfect, and the director is very clever.

Nightmare On Elm Street (2010).
If you've seen the original, stick to that. If you haven't, watch the original first.
My god the remake was lame and boring. Jackie Earl something was ok but he looks like an alien/crispy old man. I'm sorry but Robert Englund is sorely missed in this one. It's not really a Nightmare film without him. Remake/Re-imagining/rebooting go fuck yourself.
