^ Damn, the show is only 30 minutes in, and its had more "Oh my God!" moments than 2 months of Raw.

Actually I'm a little disappointed. They spent more time on a damn motorcade and talking to the fans than the actual wrestling that is supposedly better than WWE. If I was watching TNA for the first time I'd have turned it off by now, which in about 10 minutes I will be.

Yeah, I was just thinking that. One of the guys they interviewed at the beginning said he wanted to see more wrestling. So far this show's been a reunion of sorts. AJ is the champ, and he's yet to make an appearance.

And seriously, they've just had three commercial breaks seperated by two minutes of TNA.

As I typed this, they just showed Hall and X-Pac in the crowd for twenty seconds before going back to the commercials. What's the point of that? They must be doing it so people who are waiting for WWE to start and switch to TNA to see Hulk and end up tuning in on a commercial break knows he's coming up. Kind of a smart move to have Hulk appear when Raw starts.

Now fucking show Hulk already.

Loving it so far. Bet Vince is tearing his hair out over hardy, and HBK must be tearing his hair out over Flair. (What's left of it! lol)

It is smart move to have Hogan come out just as RAW's about to start but the way they made it seem to people who have never watched it was Hogan was going to come out at the top of the hour. I could care less about Ric Flair because like Hogan, I have never liked him. Honestly right now TNA looks like WCW part II.

So is this going to be the new Monday Night Wars? As someone who has not watched wrestling since around 2000, I decided to watch it tonight since the TCU/BSU game was at half time and there was nothing else to watch.

I like RAW and was intrigued since I wanted to see what the Hitman would do, truth be told it was pretty uneventful and really disapointing in the end.

The match I did see on TNA, just becuase I decided to see what they were about was VERY good and reminded me of the skill that these athlets have. It was AJ Styles/Angle match. How much of the match was scribed who knows, but over all it was a great match.

What I disliked was the "Let's go AJ/Angle chats from the crowd", they seemed pretty scripted and not authentic. Like I said I did not watch the entire live show, but what I saw skill wise was very good, considering WWE had Orton/Kingston:sleep:.

I did like the crowd getting involved ala ECW days of old and the "Who needs Bret" chat was pretty good, looked like 3 fans started it. If that is how every TNA match is then that is a good thing, crowd interaction like that is great and seems to only make the matches better IMO

I think that having older established superstars helps get fans to begin with but TNA needs to stay fresh and not revert back to WCW of the 90's with title changes left and right and dry, underdeveloped storylines.

Right now I am on the fence with TNA, the older main event WCW/WWF stars I like and AJ Styles is amazing. I am just worried that TNA might revert back to WCW from the 90's and that would be a huge disappointment since I fell the WWE is getting very tiresome. I mean really what is up with a "guest host"? TNA could very easily take over if they just avoid the mistakes from 15 years ago.

When I saw the Nasty Boys that pretty much killed it for me. I like that they brought Hardy in but if they're really gonna bring in some blue chip veterans then RVD would have been good. Goldberg would have been awesome.

Scott Hall looked like Hogan picked him up from the airport bar on the way to the show tonight!

Yeah, my feeling exactly - since when are walk-ons by name wrestlers so exciting?

It was exciting when Ric Flair came to WWE because the first thing he did was to announce that he was a co-owner of the company - so there was a whole storyline that he was plunged into.

Where's the storyline with him walking on screen in a suit?

Where's the storyline with Jeff Hardy walking in after a match is over and climbing a structure that nobody was able to climb from the inside where the match was supposed to have been fought? Well, for people who read the news, it's a mystery what TNA is going to do with a star that is fighting all of the drug charges that Hardy is fighting - and what they're going to do with a star that failed so many drug tests at WWE - doesn't seem good.

I thought the first match had potential but turned into the usual TNA botch-job. Whenever I see TNA try to do a complicated match, I marvel at the skill of Kevin Dunn and his crew that make televising complicated matches look so easy.

Oh, and now they're doing the strip poker angle that ECW did - what? 3 years ago? Yawn - only 18 minutes till RAW - not much chance that I'm going to stick around to watch TNA - especially when they already announced that there will be a re-broadcast on Thursday - not exactly the best way to keep me on this channel now.

Oh, well. I know I'm being pretty negative about them. I really wish they would do better with the opportunity that they had put so much energy into building for themselves. They have a lot of talent that I sincerely respect - AJ, Daniels, Samoa Joe especially. Those 3 guys are as good as it gets in the modern era of wrestling.

I was thinking the same thing about Hardy. He shows up, clocks Homicide, and then climbs the Steel Asylum. So what! That doesn't mean he signed with TNA. It's probably a one off appearance. If they signed him then he should have challenged for the X-Division title or (since he's now a 3 time World Champion) have him challenge AJ Styles for the Championship. TNA wouldn't care if he had drug charges though (which I hear might be dropped) because TNA doesn't really have drug policy. All they do is tell their wrestlers that they tested positive, with no reprecussions. Hell, Angle got caught with HGH and we know he's still on drugs.
