I admit that she is heavily marketed - I said that above. And honestly, I wouldn't even call myself a fan - I wouldn't pay to see her perform.

But I do acknowledge her talent - she has a great voice. Her entire gimmick is lost on me.

I absolutely LOVE Lady Gaga. Yes she has a fantastic gimmick but she is also incredibly talented. Has anyone here heard her accapella? Or just her and her piano doing ballads? She has a really amazing voice. I understand how it may be hard for some people to get past her over the top image, but she is actually doeas have a truly amazing voice. But I think that a lot of people miss that because they get blind-sided by all of the in your face shock.

That's what I noticed about her on the show last night. She said she also has a background in Jazz which is impressive. She sang with Tony Bennett last night too and she came off as very elegant. I just saw a different side of her than what I was shown previously.
