When I build a strip mall I increase my debt until revenue starts streaming in.
The Obama administration simply spent without any regard for paying it down.
Trump’s tax cuts and business deregulation are increasing revenue and eventually spending will be curbed.

The U.S has no problem whatsoever borrowing $. That's why people still loan us $ at low rates. We're not seen as an unsafe investment. We're not deadbeats. Also, unlike say the EU countries, we have control over our currency. So we can just print $ to pay down our debt.

I should add that having no growing economy and if the tax custs didn't happened things would have been much much worse.
