Actually bar nukes. I wouldn't consider it strong by any measure. Sure it has cannon fodder man power but it army is woefully obsolete and non modern.

I hope they do not have them because they will definitely use them if someone tries to invade their land.

No I mean besides nukes and man power. There army is obsolete. Don't get me wrong though it was either McNamara or Kissinger who said going to war in them zones would be fucking insane. Reason is attrition, I suspect like the Vietnamese they would fight a war of attrition. Any change will have to come from the inside.

Wow man you seem quite pro North Korean. It is not some socialist utopia. Communism doesn't work and it sure as hell isn't being implemented properly by them either. A big fat politburo at the top with all the money and nice flashy cars with Kimbo sitting at the top with a cuban cigar. Doomed to fail as in every instance of it being enacted human nature would get in the way and those that run it would become bloated and corrupt.

(Finland is located next to the former Soviet Union, so I know that the Communist are not necessarily peaceful neighbors)

But like you said, the North Korea will not change unless they themselves do not want to.

The situation in North Korea.

The new leader, a failed missele test and the western newspapers claim that the country is on the verge of collapse.

I do not really belive that last assertion since it has been repeated so many years.

North Korean media claims that the american's suffering from hungry and that their country is on the verge of bankruptcy.

I my view such a claim is Korean propaganda.

america's main ally is Europe who supply them food and weapons, so it is useless to think that they give up their independence.

Their social system is certainly not the best, but the citizen are satisfied with it and they obviously want to live in the same way.
