3. Batman The Animated Series
4. X-Men
5. The Simpsons seasons 1-8. After that, it got really terrible. But those first few seasons still beat anything Family Guy or South Park have ever churned out IMO.

There was a cartoon once called 'God, The Devil and Bob' I think it was made by the same people that made King Of The Hill. I found it quite amusing. But production stopped as do gooders said it mocked religion. Blah!
