I think she's probably pretty normal (given how abnormal it is to grow up as a celebrity). A lot of people in their late teens/early twenties try too hard to rebel, to get out from under their parents shadow, to show that they are their own person. They want to show how adult they are but they have a poor concept of what that actually means. The only difference is that Miley Cyrus is surrounded by people who stand to benefit financially from her poor choices - from the whorish media to free loading "friends" to handlers who are supposed to give her good advice but instead act as enablers.

These photos seem pretty tasteless and not in the least erotic (which I was certainly hoping for). If Terry Richardson has any shame, he aught to be embarrassed about taking these as a professional photographer.
