Suppertime! Suppertime! Hey Fellas, What'd You Have For Supper Tonight?

I guess food made with hate is better than food made with love. Hope I get a meal that scornful next time.

That Chinese restaurant lady was even ruder and more unpleasant than most Korean liquor store ladies.
Uh, I think it depends a great deal, on which origin the food comes from. You will get a better meal from a happy old Italian lady, then one who is in a mood.

There's also the "mean sushi chef". Every Japanese restaurant will greet with a samurai-like battle cry when you walk in the door, but there's also the grumpy, yet talented sushi chef who can yell and berate customers because his food is (apparently) that good. All that anger and negative energy probably helps when you're slicing up a fish that's literally alive and looking at you.

You know who cooks better than happy old Italian ladies? Mean, deadly serious old Italian men who have Mussolini tattoos.
HEY! I covered that up.

Chicken on the BBQ in Lawry's lemon pepper marinade, Green Giant broccoli in cheese sauce and washed down with Josh Cellar's Chardonnay.

I hit Chili's on my way home from running an errand. Hmmmm - they are now back to "standard" sides for the baby back ribs: fries and cole slaw. With Modelo hitting the top selling beer in the US, I asked my waitress if I could try some in a shot glass, before I ordered my beverage. She was game, so I tried it and didn't dislike it. Ordered the tall, 22-ouncer. Has a citrusy taste to it. Nice for "a change," but will stick with my Miller Lite for my "kickin' around" beer for now.

So you've heard, the silence of the lambs?

I had a meatball sub & jo jo potatoes, from the pizzeria we always order from. They make a decent pie, and good chicken. They aren't a single mom and pop shop, but they only have a half dozen local only locations.

Was in the mood for pasta. Did a recent fave: Barilla penne and Rao's Bolognese sauce. Washed it down with a glass of 19 Crimes Table Red Wine.

Did you know Snoop Dog is part owner, maybe sole owner, I'm not sure, but is involved with 19 crimes? I just found that out a few weeks ago.

I just Googled it. He and Martha Stewart (!) each have a wine bottled by 19 Crimes. I believe 19 Crimes is out of Australia. Snoop Dogg and Martha are from CA grapes.

I'm not a wine fan, which is odd, since I'm Sicilian, and grew up with wine drinkers, but anyhow, have you ever had any wine from the company Maynard, from Tool owns? I take that back, I like Boone's farm apple. But most people don't think of it as a wine.
