Finally, the first game in the SOCOM series on Ps3 was announced. IGN has the preview, and I gotta say the screen shots look stunning. Good news is that theres gonna be a campaign along with the multiplayer like the other SOCOMS on ps2.
I love this announcement for a couple of reasons besides it already being a tried and true playstation exclusive. Mainly,theres alot of shooters out there these days, too many......SOCOM uses the 3rd person camera which is a good change of pace from everything being 1st person. Yeah Uncharted is 3rd person but thats not a "warfare" game.
It says they're shooting for a fall 2010 release but this is gonna be like Sonys God of war3 of shooters. They want this to be a banging game, it will be delayed till March 2011 ala God of War3's delay. Thats just my prediction.
