Uh, I really don't need to add anything to that, I don't think. It's pretty black and white.

all companies try out alot of things in R&D,all this doesn't prove anything

To be quite honest, I forgot all about the EyeToy.

sure you did forget it,you like to trun things to make your point and bias

The problem remains however, there is the EyeToy and then the Move controller. Without one, you can't enjoy the benefit of the other.

that isn't what was the discussion,it was what whether it was different or not and yeah it can provide different experiences

AND EYETOY was controller free like the kinect, they added the controller to add precision, they demoed this at PS2's launch too with the tracking of objects

Of course it's software based, which is why the fact that EyeToy has been out for years and still doesn't do it competently makes Kinect look better. I'm not saying it is better, but for my money, at this stage, why would you not put your faith in a consolidated peripheral? I'm not arguing that voice recognition is new in the technological world, but in the current video game landscape, this is new in that the ability is bundled up in a single peripheral.

The ability is bundled up in a single peripheral.[/SIZE][/B] It takes one piece of equipment for Kinect to function. You don't have to have a camera, and a motion controller available contemporaneously. This is not the case for either of the two.

cause sony has never developed it as they focus of games

you saying that its bundled means nothing as that isn't anything different what i am trying to say

MS has been trying to perfect voice recognition in their windows SW section so they already have the tech and they still haven't perfected it as voice recognition is tough to achive and very expensive due to different accents and voices

Uh, what? We're supposed to judge how good it is by the games that are out, before the fucking thing launches? At this point the only thing we have to judge these peripherals on is what they offer in what package.

you fail with your own comment

you say that we cannot judge games cause they haven't released and we can judge the HW........WOW

Fucking seriously?

You know what? Fuck it. If you can't understand 2nd grade logic, there is no fucking reason for this discussion. Ignore it, deny it, I really don't give a fuck anymore. You can have you opinion, but I'll stick with the facts, and I think that's that.

you need to first go learn the meaning of 1st grade logic then come tell me about 2nd grade

opinion? - thats what you were giving, always bit bias

i was just saying that they all basically do the same thing, they have some high's and some lows but you gving one the advantage and treating the other one like nothing

This is like arguing with a 14 year old. I'm done with this shit. Come back when you're done putting your fingers in your ears when you hear something you don't like.

Darthsnake and Shayd can you 2 stop turning every thread related to a console into a flame boyish argument please.

From what I've seen, Move doesn't work any better than the Wii, and Kinect doesn't work at all.

Both the Move and Kinect suck as pointing devices. The Wii doesn't have this problem. As far as motion goes, Move isn't any more responsive or accurate than the Wii. And Kinect seems very unresponsive unless you use BIG movements and gestures. That can only get tiring and frustrating.

The Wii has been out for 4 years, and it works well for what it is. Move and Kinect add nothing to the game. And anyone who actually wants motion controlled games already have a Wii at this point.

I don't mean to say the Move and Kinect (and certainly not the 360, or PS3) are trash, I just think they're unnecessary. And I simply don't understand someone saying the Wii sucks, but thinking the Move is awesome and innovative. It's another version of the exact same thing.

From the friends that I know that have the Move, they say that it is actually light years better than the Wii as far as responsiveness goes, and that it's a better overall product.

The move is 1000x more accurate than the Wii. No shaking or wobbling. I point, it responds with pin point precision. I haven't tried the Kinect yet.

Not that the Wii doesn't have this problem with some games, but after seeing these, I fail to see how you can say the Move is better.

It could just be a problem with the individual games, but that same argument is easily used with Wii games. Move might have some 1-to-1 accurate games, but Wii Sports Resort is 1-to-1 as well. Hardware-wise, the gyros in the Move and Wii with Wii Motion Plus are the same.

But one of the reasons why the Move is more responsive is because it isn't relying just on the controller for motion,it also uses the PSEye,and this adds far better tracking of the controller's movements.

Personally,I think it's all a gimmick and will have nothing to do with either of them. The only way that I will even consider buying a Move is if they ever come out with a good Star Wars game that incorporates light saber duels with the Move.

I just bought Sony move and I give it two thumbs up. It's a Wii controller with more precision and games geared toward hardcore gamers rather than kids and families. If you want the next evolution in gaming get Move it's worth every cent.

wii is the best! i gamble 20s on wii golf all the time.

i also throw my wii remote around quite a bit...made for kids definatly!! very durable to say the least
