I have friends who are Muslim in the US Army and even some of all kinds of crazy backgrounds. There is no excuse no matter what race or religion you are to do something like this.

The guy was a nut case pure and simple. They should have put his ass out of the Army a while ago. We had kids in basic who were crazy they put out of the Army ASAP.

They (recruiters) maybe just needed to fill the box or get a number for that month. I seen a fully capable dude get rejected for 1% over body fat yet this nut case gets through.

Trust me if you never have to working recruiting never do! I am not sure how different it is for other MOS's but 11B usually around E5-E6 You Might end up in recruiting or drill. They want to make sure you can work outside your MOS to be a diverse soldier before they promote you again. Of course things like the Q course and what not are another sure fire promotion method lol.

We had the same option in 19D, but I decided to go DI route at Cav School. Everyone that went to be a recruited from what I heard hated every minute of it.

You can pick out passages of a similar magnitude to that in the Bible and in the Torah. They're all based on the same myths, so why are those of the muslim faith any different. Is it just because those who adhere to that particular belief are usually of a different race to you?
