Sorry Slowhand but this isn't a horror and was never meant to be. Simon Penn said he always wanted to do a comedy spoof of a zombie film and then the chance came with this.

But aren't all zombie films comedy's ?

Well they always make me laugh :)

man , you gotta check out cannibal holocaust. it's a pretty sick film. Have in mind that the animals they kill is real animals and it's fucking murder..

Just to clarify i don't support the killing of animals, i actually think it's fucking twisted and the director should be shoot in the neck. thank you

Cannibal Holocaust is fantastic!

But for the animal killing part: When you watch a classic Western movie from the era before animal rights were a topic, you must bear in mind that approximately one third of the horses used in chase scenes and stampedes had to be killed on the spot due to their serious injuries.

Film making has never been particularly animal friendly.

Pelts was scarier than shit.....some gruesome scenes.
Directed by Dario Argento from 2006-2007 Master Of Horrors series.

I haven't seen anything from the Masters of Horror series, but it looks pretty awesome. I know that many of the directors that I and others mentioned did films for it. so I suppose that's a reccomendation right there.

Then of course, there's always the original "Black Christmas", which scared the shee-hit out of me when I was a kiddie in the 70s.

I just saw "shutter" and it gave me a lot of quick scares. I jumped several times in my chair while watching it. The movie is slow but overall was very well made.

I will definitely look into "Two sisters" Anyone know any other Asian ghost movies? I think there is nothing scarier than an angry Asian corpsy looking ghost.

Special Operations FOX-HOUND
The Grudge and Silent Hill

P.S is there any horror flicks thats scarier than japaneese horror flicks?

Special Operations FOX-HOUND
Why not?

I hoesntly find the game to be more so than the movie. I was more in love to be having any other emotions cus Pyramid Head fuckin owns.

That's your lucky day since I'm an expert in that and I know a lot of horror movies that are sure to creep you out! First, you have to know that the scariest movies are usually asian and that today's american horror movies are far from scary! If you like gore, then you have to look into Italian horror movies.

Some recommendations: The Eye(scariest movie I have ever seen!), Shutter, The Ring(Asian version), Ju On(The Grudge asian version), The Changeling(the only one in there that is not asian), A Tale Of Two Sisters(mostly psychologically scary!), ... These are all ghosts movies and personally, I think ghost movies are the scariest. Today

PS: These movies are 10X scarier than all of the movies that were named in this thread!

Cannibal Holocaust is not scary...Its DISTURBING. That's different.

I so want to see Ju On!

I saw Ju on and the grudge. Both were not very good. The ghosts in Ju on were just women with white make up.

If you want a good Asian horror film see "Shutter" and "Arang" I am trying find more films similar to it.

I'm not sure why nobody mentioned this... it maybe is b/c they didn't see it or something, but "Hostel" is probably one of the best horror movies I ever saw along with "The Hills Have Eyes" I and II are pretty wild. Enjoy!
