I filled out my latest job application today. It didn't look too bad they only had a five or six people in there for about ten jobs and they only have a couple of things like that where people can apply. So my chances are not looking half bad.

It beats the times I have went to apply somewhere and when the place that took application opened up there were two hundred people there waiting just when they opened their doors, and they had 5,000 people come throughout the day for a handful of openings.

Then again I have been optimistic in the past when I thought my chances were good and have been let down so maybe I shouldn't get my hopes up.


On another note, I got a summons to be in a jury duty pool today that I will have to do in the near future. Not that I want to go away from my civic duty, but I wonder if the fact I have no reliable transportation there and back of my own will be something that they will take into consideration.
