Protecting your home

in germany you have to help the thief to get your things out of the house:) just kidding we cannot use guns but if i could i would not hessitate to blow his lights out. im a sniper with the g36 he would not come close:D but will never happen because of our "perfect" law. just hope that if it happens my dog will distract him while i get my kitchen knife. than its gonna be brutus all over him:D

A sniper rifle would probably not be very handy if he's in the same room as you, especially if you use the telescopic sight

i used to say that too, so have a lot of dead people.

where i'm at its also illegal for citizens to have firearms.
so only the criminals have them.if they break into your house you are defenseless.

how any country or state can tell people they cant protect their life, family and property makes me sick.

No doubt, you have to have at least a double barrel today. Also, I have to say I really feel for the women out there today with all the rape and assault. I really wouldn't want any of my sisters to be in some of the neighborhoods over here without a strap. I never let my girl leave my house at 2AM unless I walked her to her car.

the g 36 is no sniper rifle:) by saying im a sniper with that gun i meant that i aim very well. but other than that you would be right. sniper rifle would not be the best choice:D:D to alisa. yeah can imagine that that could be the case but if my dog attacks somebody on my property with a warning sign hanging out beware of the dog thats not the dogs fault. he isnt a aggressive dog but when it comes to defending me or my family he would do the job. hope it actually never happens. but the law sucks in that regard.

As you're probably aware I haven't got a clue about guns but fortunately I've never heard of a burglar use a gun in a home invasion in the UK, even knives for that matter they normally pick something up from your kitched so nothing looks pre-meditated

actually my playstation 3 and 5 games were stolen on a house party held by my sister when i was on a drill with the army last month. but that doesnt count because my stupid sis let them in:D man so many people were in our house she invited over facebook:D getting furious thinking about it

Just pick up that sniper rifle and hunt them down one by one, hopefully you'll get a judge who also owns a PS3 and will be sympathetic to your cause. I would rather an unknown burglar broke in and took my stuff rather than deal with 'friends' who borrow things then never give them back and you don't want to even buy them again as you know you already own them even if you know you'll never see the items again

Yes, in the people's republic of California, firearm ownership is legal, however, the nibbling self righteous socialist democrats who dominate the politics of this state are doing everything possible to gradually/incrementally erode these Constitutional rights.
The latest restrictions have to do with ammunition . . how much you can purchase at a time and how you purchase it . . . don't get me started or I'll end up going nuclear.

As for using a firearm against an intruder in your home, well, you better be able to prove that A) said intruder was wielding a deadly weapon of some sort. 2) as a last line of defense, you reacted in order to preserve your own or another member of the households' life.
You also should be prepared to spend a shitload of money on legal representation because the DA will most certainly be coming after your ass with the mindset that you shot at an unarmed exiting burglar.

Really, you have to read the letter of the law yourself and get a grasp on what your legal rights are . . . . ignorance is no defense.

If you guys look long and hard enough, blueprints can be found on Google. You can literally make an automatic weapon with some welding, milling and lathe work.

The ammo is going to be key when the oppresive government comes to take our firearms. I don't see this for some time, but nevertheless, I plan to be stocked up.

this topic really pisses me off because i feel strongly about the right to bear arms.
just as feel strongly that to be convicted of a crime the state must prove it without a reasonable doubt.

in the case of gun ownership you are judged guilty with no evidence against you.
you cant own a gun,you cant carry a gun because you may commit a crime with it

and in most states a citizen has to jump through hoops to get a handgun for the home, it takes a long time and have to go through a lot of crap assuming washington even gives permission...... a permit to carry one is damn near impossible.

so your life is in danger, you live in a dangerous area or you just want to go to a range and shoot targets.............ya can't.

Move to Texas, meester. They give you a gun every time you renew your drivers license.

I have thought about making that move, probably never will though.

I applied for a fire-arm ID in new jersey about 10 years ago.
I went through the legal process and over month later I got a letter fron Washington, " We are sorry to inform you but due to an over abundance of applications we are unable to blah blah blah.......please try again in 6 months".

I almost shit. they denied me of my constitutional right.
Those Bastards!

that ridiculous, god forbid you live in camden or newark, you'd be shot dead at least 3 times by an illegal gun in those 6 months

The issuance of a ''firearm ID'' (via the State of NJ) is required before you can legally purchase a gun for the home and or range? Do I have that right, MP?

If so, That's more oppressive than California!

I'd be on the phone with the good NJ governor if I was you. :p :1orglaugh
