Pssst. Nobody cares about Canada. :nono:

If I were a petty retaliatory type, I might retort somewhat harshly about a state whose bird is the loon and whose 'official' State drink is milk, and best of all, whose annual cultural highlight is The Great Get Together, famous for ''its displays of seed art, butter sculptures of dairy princesses, the birthing barn, and the "fattest pig" competition.''

Sounds like fun ... you betcha!!

But, as I just got an invite to spoon with Vanilla DeVille and am now in a tremendous mood , I'm gonna let you off with a warning ...:D

And this post is exactly why it's highly likely that Savior O is a one-term president. Liberals (his own constituents) are more upset him than anyone. And people on here actually believe it's going to be a walkover. :nono:

Obama's still better than anyone the republicans have to offer.

I am fairly conservative but this is really the truth. I mean seriously Donald Trump? Not to mention the other list of failed 2008 washouts they are putting forward.

Well, anyone who lives in a place that produced Alanis Morissette, Justin Bieber, Winnipeg, and igloos, I take great pity on, so trust me...the feeling is mutual. ;)

No good options. For a party supposedly dominated by white males, there's a crisis of white male leadership in that party. Perhaps Romney for a mainstream candidate, or Ron Paul. Ron Paul probably doesn't have the energy to win an election.

If Chris Christie was elected in 2008 instead of 2010, he might have a shot. Americans are rubbed the wrong way by candidates who don't even finish their first term before leapfrogging to another rung up on the ladder.

Romney and Pawlenty are both liberals pretending to be republicans. That means more tax-cut and spend neoconservative Bush shit. Neither Romney nor Pawlenty has what it takes to survive Obama-jitsu.

I think Romney will have the most support from moderates, but of course that means the Republican Party wants little to do with him.

Pawlenty looks interesting, but I'm afriad he isn't 'mainstream' enough to win the nomination. He needs to do a lot of work in this upcoming year

If its Palin or Bachman, Obama can relx

My support goes to Ron Paul, Ventura or Pawlenty

Palin's is on the landscape for one reason, McCain incorrectly assumed he'd be running against Obama and Clinton. The fact that Palin and/or Bachmann are on the landscape doesn't bely the notion the GOP is dominated by white males. It just supports the notion the GOP constituency is dominated by idiots.:hatsoff:

they made a joke in the simpsons (bart to the future) where lisa is president and says they aquired a huge debt from president trump. i hope to god they're not soothsayers :1orglaugh

'bely'??? :wtf: Misspoke...intended to mean it doesn't undercut the notion.

I'm very intrigued by Christie. Also, I Ron Paul has formed a group to test the waters for another run in '12.

Even this Democrat is intrested in Christie, but i Dont think his stiff angle on politics would work in Washington. You just can't play the same game there, hence you campaign one way and govern another. I think he would have a tough time finding allies which you need to make real policy happen.

I am curious none the less.. He is a viable one, along with boring Pawlenty, who is the 2nd coming of Bob Dole. The rest of the Republican field; Palin (Joke), Bachmann (Slighty looney), Paul (Too old and had his run), Romney (Obamacare MA), Trump (Bankrupt and a Birther).

Who else is going to make a smart run and is electable?
