Some great choices there....

Petraeus is duplicitous, dishonest, treasonous, smooth and commands mucho gushing love from the media so yeah, a perfect candidate for president.

It's amazing that whichever of the wars he's posted to run all of a sudden the outlook turns from bleek to 'victory is near'. Wow! What a guy!

I'm not arguing with you, but I am curious about this treason business?

Re: Predictions for 2012 Republican Presidential Candidates?

I am telling you, if the Mayans were wrong about 2012, the demo-donkey yah:yahoo::clown:s have a back up plan in place to destroy u.s. with all of their unsustainable welfare state over expenditures. :horse:

Republican Presidential Candidates you ask?
Really, I got nothing. There is no more statesmanship on either side of the aisle, they're all bought and paid or by a special interest or two or three or four . . .

Nice knowing you America, Nikata was correct, you will be consumed from within!
Now if you would excuse me, I must finish my last minute tax payment papers before the 4-15 deadline (subsidizing our own demise I always say). :ak47:

good point

a much more sustainable practice would be to reserve those billions for defense contractors who lobby to be given the task -by government officials who are 'former' employees of those companies- of helping defend the country against self created security threats.

but we couldn't call that a welfare state, could we?

My vote goes to the disingenuous windbag, which is all of them.

The only candidate I would support from from either/neither party is Dr. Ron Paul (depending on if he runs as an R or an I).

all i know at this point is that its going to be someone who loses to Obama by a landslide

You actually believe that? I don't know what you're smoking but this ain't gonna be no route. Quite a few recent polls are very much against Obama's favor. I think him being a one-term Commander-in-Chief is very much a possibility.

alot can change between now and November '12. and im no fan of obama, but im not impressed with any of the possible candidates except Huckabee and i dont think hes going to run. the thing is Obama might get lucky twice, he won the first time cause the economy took a turn no one of either party wanted, and he could win next year cause the republican candidate has no appeal to independants. i hope im wrong, but tis not too encouraging right now

I would hate to see Donald Trump run for President of the United States. My reason is this: during an interview he did on CNN with Larry King a few years ago, Donald Trump spoke about his belief in taking revenge against his enemies. He was speaking about his feud with Rosie O'Donnel. Revenge is for God...not Donald Trump, in my humble opinion. Unfortunately, our country is no longer a republic. Our country has become a plutocracy, rule by the rich.

Obama won because he ran a great campaign in states democrats hadn't tried to win in decades. To chalk up his win to luck is highly disrespectful and not based on the evidence.

Incumbents have a natural advantage in re-election. As for the "polls," I haven't seen any that indicate the president won't win.

i hope a republican wins in 2012

cant wait my turn to complain about everything he/she does for the next 4 or 8 years(god forbid).
