This week I'm using all my nominations up at once. They all goto the same OCSM Tabitha Stern, for two reasons. One for been so helpful towards someone in the competive world of modeling, even though some wouldn't. But also the second is the follow up post, she's also giving advice and watching out for the her fellow model.

So as there's only one nomination this week I'll just open it straight up. But won't change the winner till Monday night/Tuesday morning.



Nominating for this week is now open

This thread is for nominating,voting and congratulating for the best post of each week.
Each member can nominate 2 posts that they felt were especially good during each week.But please if the post has already been nominated don't second it or nominate it again.As you'll get the chance to vote for it anyway.
Nominating will be between Tuesday to Saturday.
There will then be two days of voting Sunday & Monday.
Then the winner will be announced on the Tuesday as a sign to start for the new nominating period.
All done on GMT or BST depending which is in operation.
In case of a tie, both posts will win.


Any post made between these dates can be nominated Sunday April 23th to Saturday April 29th.

Were there no nominations for this last week (other than Poggy's, which shouldn't count or be allowed, IMO, since he runs the thread...)?

As stated before, there was only my nomination. So that member is the winner!

Also as stated before a few times I only manage the thread. Since I don't pick the winner or nominations except any I nominate. I can't see why I shouldn't be allowed to nominate any post I want. After all it goes into the same voting process the rest do. That means the voters pick the winner not me.

(Now you see why it's on a voting system Fly.) As not only can I take part in it, but the members decided. Not only that but as I said in SOTW thread, if you missed one better than or posted later than your nomination, you can still vote for it.

P.S.

Your nomination is outside the new dates look above (sorry).

LOL Oh well...

I guess it's different from juballs' "MOW" thread, which has run late again this week ( :ban: ), in that he chooses the winner rather than goes by nominations/votes - he takes them as suggestions, but in the end decides himself. Since it's by nominations then, here, why vote AND nominate?

Sorry, Pog, but the different processes and timings and nominating and voting processes have clearly taken a toll on these threads, which have all great intentions and could be great! A week passed and there was ONE nomination for "post of the week." Seraphim, who runs "sig of the week" won himself with a hefty 4 votes, and "member of the week" was DEAD until this morning.

Perhaps we've got too much of a good thing? :( I don't know... :dunno:

Try researching better my friend Fly, as I did the first nomination in MOTW on Friday. Nearly 48 hours ago, by my research. The week before last I had 7 nominations for POTW, but everything has it's slow weeks.

Also you know full well how this works and again it sorrows me that you pretend you don't!.

Again you want everything to run the same. The same way of running things and the same time of the week. If all the "..... of the Weeks" ran at the same time, wouldn't things get a little clogged up. Also what about the members who don't get on the board at the weekends. Are we just to say sod them!

LOL I'm too busy to research all this stuff. I'll just toss out a nod here and there and you guys who run these threads can take them or leave them. lmao :D :nanner:
