Wow, you had a goal disallowed. You got it back within a couple minutes and then took a 2 goal lead that you couldn't hold. The refs had nothing to with Buffalo's inability to seal the deal. The Senators are doing all the little things and dirty work along the boards that Buffalo seems unwilling to do. There's no way you win the next 4 against that Senators team.
And as right as you are, and as much as the Sens have outplayed the Sabres for the best part of 3 straight games, and outworked them, and out-penaltied them especially... I live here, and I only watch hockey for my hometown team, so I have to believe, and I sincerely do believe.
Maybe they lose next game, or win one and then lose at home, or win two and then lose back in Canada's capital. But...
Maybe, just maybe, they pull out one of the greatest turnarounds in playoff history... Buffalo wins the next one, and then again, and then on the road, and before you know it, they're playing game seven at HSBC. Believe it or not... it's possible. It's not over till its over.
It could be over next game. Or it could be a miraculous Jekyll and Hyde Buffalo that after three games of one, transforms back to their irrepressible selves that had a six game winning streak in the playoffs IN Ottawa... they only need to win 2 in Canada and 2 in Buffalo...
You never know.
I think they can do it, and HOW I would love to see it happen. If they do it, they'll do it because they deserve it... by dominating the next 4 hockey games. You never know.

Yeah. Who said 1-0 games are boring? That was exciting.
yes it was
Ottawa and Detroit for the Stanley Cup
I just want it to end already. Give Ottawa the cup now and get on to the draft and free agent signings. I wish the free agent market opened a day after the draft. I'm tired of waiting to see what Philly's plan is.
I want it to end so I can see what the Canucks do with Naslund
is he a free agent this summer?
I am not sure what a free agent is:o
But I sure hope he is, because the Canucks need to get rid of him.

Here is a list of all the players who'll be available to sign with whoever they want come July 1st. Why get rid of Naslund? I thought he was the Smyth of Vancouver:dunno:
He used to be. But now if you were to look at his stats for the season and playoffs you wouldn't think so.
He is over payed and does not deserve to be the captain.
Näslund is such a great hockey player.
He is getting a little older I guess. He's what 34? Maybe he'll get traded before the start of next season. Could need a change of scenery and a lesser role on a different team. Just an idea.
