I sure do hope my Maple Leafs and Blue Jackets take it to game 7. I want it to be a hard fought series. Well Im done dreaming now so yeah lol.

I told you before and I'll say it again....it's ONLY the Canadiens.

So far it looks like you're right. I can't believe that we as fans are one game away from having a 3rd straight warm weather team hoist the cup. Something has got to be done to make sure it doesn't happen again next season.

Tampa in 04
CaroLina In 06
Anaheim in 07 ?

Try getting a better team, well next season you will have a somewhat cold weather team lifting the cup, my Rangers. so you dont have to worrie.

The Bolts, Canes and Ducks all had to face "cold weather" Canadian teams in the finals...all three did it the hardway, IMO.

As a Canuck fan I just can't help rooting for Burke and his Loonies...I guess I'll have to hand-over my Canadian passport now and lose my citizenship for going against the Sens.

It smells the cup for Anaheim!!

it's only the end of the second period. alot can (hopefully) happen in the next 20 minutes.

I have nothing personal against Anaheim. I simply think it's another shot at the NHL's already very low popularity to have the cup champs on the west coast. The tv ratings for it in the U.S already suck. It doesn't really help that the league has a deal with a network that most people can't find on their cable system. The NHL really has some things to fix before next season.

1) They need to cut down on the number of teams that make the playoffs

2) Find a better tv deal

3) relax on the rules a little. the refs shouldn't be allowed to decided games.

4) no playoffs games in the daytime on a weekend.

Lord Stanley in socal, Canada denied once more.
The Ducks win the cup. :hatsoff:

Yeah, that's f'd up that Canadian teams can't quite seem to win the cup to save their lives anymore.

I lived in Raliegh and the Carolina area for a few years and I don't exactly consider it a warm weather area.I does get pretty damn chilly there, but your point is well taken.

Anaheim blew Ottawa out of the water tonight, it was a no contest

I don't know what would be worse. That or the fact some of the old Canadian teams moved to warm weather cities in the first place.
